I bought this for work on cleaning a carburetor - having the extra magnification is really nice, and the lighting made it possible for me to see the little jets and inside the jet block.This will see use for building Lego sets, too. Excellent tool.

The stand is not heavy enough to keep it from overturning. The clamp provided to mount it on a table is not ‘deep’ enough so it will clamp onto any surfaces that have a beveled edge. A beveled edge is common on end tables, counter tops, etc.

I'm really happy with this magnifier, the build quality is great with a heavy base, stong clamp, and a fantastic light. The ring led provides perfectly even light and you change both the strength amd light color using the remote attached to the power cord. The bendable arm moves smoothly and holds positions well. It is easy to adjust the tensionat the different movement joints. Magnification quality is also great with a very wide focus area.

This light is great to use for checking out card conditions. I was really impressed by how genuinely easy it was to put together and use. Maybe 5 minutes total from taking it out of the box to being used. I'd recommend if you're conditioning cards.
