Disappointing
This is a very disappointing book of recipes. The glucose goddess encourages us to eat high protein, low carb, and most of the recipes in this book are very high carb, and if I actually used them would prevent me from meeting my daily goals. Nothing in this book has helped me achieve the goals set out by the glucose goddess. I only wish I had figured this out before the 30 day return window had expired.

Needs an editor, but recipes look good
After scanning the book fairly quickly, I noticed the Pumpkin Spice Smoothie on page 21 is missing pumpkin and spice. I am guessing it was an error and there should be at least pumpkin in it. I would like the actual recipe, but I don't know how to contact Joshua (p.2) or is it Jousha (p.1).The recipes really do look delicious and fairly simple to make. This is definitely good for me as I am not a chef by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't be misled
I wish I had read the reviews first.Fist of all, this is NOT by Jessie Inchauspe, In fact, the real author's name isn't even on the front cover (although Jessie's name is and it is in a large font that stretches across the cover). I feel that this is an intentional misleading for someone who's not looking closely enough.Secondly, it is NOT worth the money I paid for it. It is just as others have said - a large magazine that's only 1/4 inch thick. It might be worth $10-$13 (at most) but it's a lousy value for $18.99 + tax.Thirdly, the font is very, very large - which might be nice if you need reading glasses - so ultimately, there's even LESS information in the "magazine" than you would expect.Someone (Jousha M. Stewart) has played off someone else's success, put together a flimsy set of recipes and fluffed them up (via very large text) to try to fill up a "magazine" and make a quick buck.I'm sick that I've wasted my money on this crap.

Disappointed
The recipes are so simplistic, that I could have figured them out without the book. Waste of money.

Not the best...not the worst unless your prescription needs to be updated.
I love, loved the book, so I bought this recipe accompaniment book. The recipes that I have made so far a good, but the quality of the book for me is lacking. The font is just LARGE! Seems like they took a normal recipe book and said...hu but what if took the font from 16, and made it with a font of 32? The look of the book seems like someone accidentally zoomed in on a page but never modified it to fit correctly. On the plus side, I can take my glasses off to open the oven when the steam hits and still read what's on the page.

Needs more work by the author
For the most part, the recipes sounded delicious. I will definitely try some of them. What threw me off is none of the recipes indicate how many servings the recipes provide. It seems that they are four servings for main dishes, but the smoothies are single servings? Hard to know, and I really do not want to waste food cooking for one or two people. It would be really helpful to include the nutrition data for each recipe as well.
