I can't believe how complicated Phillips make this light to set up and use. To get full use of it, you need to scan the correct QR code on the correct piece of paper in the box. There are multiple QR codes on different pieces of paper and it's not at all obvious which one to use. When you work your way through this - AND use the Phillips Hue app - then you get lots of nice features such as colour and scene changes. But this only works with the Phillips Hue app.What I really wanted to do was to use this directly with Alexa, like all my other lights. I worked out how to do this, but this means I only get one shade of white which can be dimmed. So I cannot use all the functionality of the bulb. Come on Phillips - make your bulbs more compatible and easier to set up.I only bought the bulb because it was on discount with a new Echo device. If you're not getting such a deal, I strongly suggest you buy other bulbs such as the Amazon Basic ones, which are much easier to set up.
