Solved my issue
Easy to recomend. The price was right. The shipping was fast (prime). It solved the problem. The extension wire to LED strip clips were what I needed to solve my problem with poor soldering skills. I will say, however, that they were not completely ID10t proof. It took 2 tries to figure out that it was easiest to use with the circuit live; opposed to build on the bench and relocate to the installation site.Open the securing clips wide, separate the exrension wire about 3/4" press each wire in its groove with thumb then press down the holding clip. Then, the LED strip. Cut on the cut line, do not remove waterproofing, open the holding clip to see the conductor pins well, line up the strip - this is where a live curcuit helps..put the contoller on white (all colors on. When you get all colors lighting up, press down the hold down clip. Note: a bad connection on the extension wire side can also be the cause of 1 or all colors not working. Be patient. Be ready to open and try again. Have fun!I did not try the adhesive backed mount clips in my application.I did not use this outdoors or in a wet location. I only got the wather proof variety to match my existing LED stips.Wife loves her new indirect lighting on her knickknack shelves.

Some assembly required
I purchased this to fabricate a few jumpers so I can string LED lights through the kitchen (on top of the cabinets). Unfortunately, I am starting with one set of Waterproof lights and two sets of indoor lights. The waterproof set has a very thick coating of plastic covering the lights, the other ones do not have this thick coating. I find that the wire to LED strip connectors do not work if you are using the non-waterproof strip, the contacts just will not penetrate to make contact with the LED strip. I am going to try building up the thickness locally using electricians tape, if that doesn't work, I will have to get a thin soldering iron (unfortunately all of my soldering equipment is too large for this application). I suspect that the waterproof strand will connect much easier (as you can see in some of the videos associated with this product). The wire ribbon is 22 gauge, so relatively thin wire - but the wire splice terminations work quite well... I am sure someone could come-up with a more reliable termination gadget, will keep my eye open, but once I get these wired, I doubt I will have to worry about re-terminating any of these.

Don’t buy this, move along
The wire is fine, and you shouldn’t have to strip it back due to clips it comes with but here’s that part. The clips are absolute trash, and a waste of money, I could have bought 20 gauge wire at Home Depot and been fine without this product. Stripping the wire even at the 18 gauge mark on my wire strippers still would pull strands of wire off...Here’s what you do, but 4 stack multicolor wire at a local hardware or electronics store, and buy a soldering gun. You tube how to solder and teach yourself. It’s the only way to ensure a constant and permanent connections. These clips wasted so much time and it got to the point that playing with them for connectivity became pointless, the lights are going in a camper and if just touching them messed up full connectivity then they would stand a chance in transit. Realistically they aren’t even good in a kitchen or behind a tv, at their best I had to pinch them to get them to connect.Don’t waste your money on this kit, it truest isn’t worth it

Please don't waste your money
I looked at some of the other negative reviews and thought, can't be that bad. Yes, it is. Total waste of money. I ran this wire behind my cabinets for very intricate kickplate and under upper cabinet led lights. It's going to be so cool. Spoiler alert, it isn't. I had to re-run other wires and use different connectors and my setup works great. In this package, nothing worked wire or connectors. As others have said, you can have the best connection in the connector and you will get zero voltage on the other side. Think you flipped the wires around? Nope, nothing you've done wrong, just pure and absolute shotty product is all you're paying for.

I mean... kinda?
I used the cable more than anything else. The "Quick connectors" that are supposed to let you clip together extension cable and an LED light strip don't really work, I was unable to make a connection with them. I ended up using the white strip to strip connectors and soldered cable on one side of them, worked fine. I would imagine those would also work fine for clipping together two Led Strips, although if you wiggle them too much it will fall out.So in short, if you know how to solder, you will be able to make something work with this kit.

Wire and Adhesive Clips are Useful but Connectors are Garbage
If you want just sort of okay wire for low-voltage applications this wire seems okay. The adhesive clips also work well. The quick connectors (black and clear connectors) that go from the RGB wire to the waterproof strip are absolute trash.I cannot say this enough, just solder your connections. A full soldering kit set is less than 20 dollars and you will save so much time. Watch a few youtube videos, it takes a little patience but can absolutely be done. I almost lost my sanity trying to work with those quick connectors.Last thing I would also call out is to account for voltage drop - if you just wire strip to strip end to end your LEDs at the end just won't be as bright as the ones at the start. You can get around this by using more wire and wire each LED strip back to the source to keep your voltage up (within reason - your power supply can only support so many amps).

Ended up using strip-to-strip connectors
LED strip newbie here. Bought this because I wanted to use the quick connectors & I needed a long-ish extension wire, but ended up not using the quick connectors because they just wouldn't connect! Maybe I had to be super precise with the LED strip end? Regardless, the wire provided and the 'strip-to-strip connectors' ended up being what I used to connect to the extension wire. Required soldering, and also the connectors come closed, and are super annoying to open.

Don’t even try it
Strongly dislike this product. Super hard to use and i wasn’t able to make a single good connection. Simple packaging with no instructions. Very bad purchase...

Connectors don't work
The connectors don't work even if I pre strip the wire and put the metal tabs directly on the led strip. This is useless, would give 0 stars if I could

Clips do not work
The clip connection for wire to strip do not work. only the strip to strip connector work. I had to manually connect the MC4 wires.
