Overall I really like this product. I though about just getting dust plugs and the trackpad/touchbar covers but by then you are spending at least $15 so for $5 more you get a keyboard cover and camera covers. Everything works as expected thus far, you cant even tell the touchbar protector is on other than the feel of it is a little more matte than without. The keyboard cover is surprisingly thin, compared to the one that came with my hard shell case it is thinner and less rubbery feeling. It does come with adhesive to keep the keyboard cover held down which I have not seen before. I opted to not use this and it is staying on fine and is much less visually noticeable than most. I was skeptical about putting on the camera cover as i was worried about anything too bulky causing pressure on the screen when closed, but it is also surprisingly thin, the screen still closes magnetically and if anything it keeps the the keyboard cover from pressing on the screen. The dust plugs fit as expected and I appreciated that they gave you two extra USBc and one extra headphone plug. Bonus you could use these on another device or if you are like me save them knowing you will eventually loose a few. It also comes with an extra camera cover which I dont see falling off but I guess it never hurts! The only issues I had was with applying the trackpad protector. as you can see from the pictures there are a couple bubbles, after placing it the first time I pulled up on the "2" tab to remove the top layer of the packaging and It took off the whole thing. Following that I had to place it about 2 more times before getting it right and then very carefully peel off the top layer. This is the reason I am giving it 4/5 rather than 5/5. We will see if it holds up, if not I will edit this post, I am skeptical with how easily it came off on first application, but on the plus side I know the adhesive isnt so strong that it will cause damage.Overall I like this product so far and feel I got what I paid for as long as the trackpad cover stays intact!

Be careful when you unpack the stickies, particularly the one for the trackpad since it isnt at first clear which way the adhesive is on. But it does stick well , it's just hard to tell until you position it and press down on the pad. As for the feel, it takes getting used to. Doesnt feel as glossy and smooth as the pad which is to be expected , but I read that it would be some level of smooth; again adjustment is needed. That being said , it could be because I accidently put the adhesive part on my shirt when I was going in to place it (since it wasn't clear which side was which as mentioned above) and so naturally some of the cotton got on it. Also take care to install it properly so that its equitably distributed to cover as much of the surface as possible, since its not totally covered but only a sliver if you install it well.The keyboard cover fits , but takes getting used to so as to get back that speed and ease of typing. I do rather adore the dust protector inserts , brilliant idea; and the camera cover was a very clever idea. I've held off on installing it as I was waiting for a screen protector, but will install it soon.Regarding the touch bar , it was a bloody pain to install. There must be a better way to do it just based on how it was designed , but ut wasn't clear to me all so I just went in for the kill. Bubbles are quite annoying, perhaps because I had trouble installing it but I've resigned myself to fate. Still it works and feels smooth enough. Just had to readjust it a few times. It also requires finagling to get a maximal fit but again only a sliver if you do it right.All an all a decent kit. Would be nice if there was additional protection to cover the rest of the computer like on either side of the trackpad and perhaps on either side of the mac, but I suppose that's for another product.Alas, there's not much out there in this department but it works and affords me some peace of mind for my very steep but adorable investment. All in all 4.5 stars because of the feel.

After getting my first MacBook, it didn’t take long to realize I’d want to protect the critical areas just like I do for my phone. I researched a number of protector kits, specifically looking for those which would protect the screen, touch at, and keyboard. While I did not find a kit which had all the components I wanted, I did come across this Homy product which contained the touchbar and Touch ID protectors, touch pad protector, keyboard cover, dust plugs (to keep foreign objects out of the ports), and a sliding webcam privacy shield. I had no issues with installation or product quality. My only point of frustration was the “wet” pad from the cleaning kit was bone dry and I had to use my own alcohol, which was inconvenient but not a game changer. I have also not seen many keyboard covers “in the wild” but I guess I was not expecting to have to tape it to the keyboard. All in all, there is no visual change to my MacBook except the obvious areas where the cover is taped to the keyboard. You can’t tell the touchpad, touch at, or Touch ID protectors are there at all. Even the webcam privacy shield looks natural and slides back and forth easily on the screen. I have a tempered glass screen protector on order, my only concern is wether the screen protector and webcam shield will interfere with each other. All together, I recommend this product to protect your A1707 MacBook.

Besides that, the other included protectors are good - touchbar protectors are clear and smooth. Webcam cover nice and compact. Plugs stay in snug. I also found that personally I don't like using the rubber keyboard cover, but the included adhesive stickers to go between the keys and keyboard cover helps hold it in place well (but you can see it through the cover so it looks kind of ugly).
