Great Product
A fast introduction to sauces, it fits everywhere since it's a small book 23cm to 16cm .It has recipes (over 300 that accually work) and a small summary in each one of them.

Outstanding sauce recipes
Delicious!! This is my favorite sauce cookbook and I’ve got a dozen. The recipes are all excellent and it covers almost anything I’ve been searching for. Try the Cognac Cream Sauce on pg 19 the next time you make veal chops or chicken breasts, and the Butter Herb Sauce on pg 57 with fish. I guarantee you'll want to try everything else after you taste these!

lots of information and recipes
This book came with lots of information and recipes on sauces, probably everything I could possible want to know. I’m not impressed with the seller because the book was supposed to be like new, but the cover has a lot of damage, including a drink ring and some of the pages were stained and creased.

Destined to become a favorite.
I love cook books and have a pretty good collection of them. I can tell this one is destined to become a favorite. We all have a cookbook, worn and smudged, that we turn to over and over. This is one of those books. It has everything from a basic white sauce to emulsified butter sauces. It also has salsa and pasta sauces, salad dressings and mayonnaises. For the grill meister it even has BBQ sauces and marinades. As noted before it is not a beginners cookbook, but if you possess the basic kitchen skills you should be fine with it. It will definitely help you add a little flair to your next get together.

for everyday use
Lots of sauce recipes sorted by type. Recipes mostly use easy-to-find ingredients. Handy section at the back of the book lists sauces that go with particular dishes - pork, beef, egg, poultry, vegetable, dessert etc. This makes it a handy go-to book to flavor up any meal. Just wish that section included page numbers to make locating the recipes easier

Just ok
The recipes are fine, but I don’t like that it’s paperback and doesn’t stay open. I also don’t really love the fact that there aren’t photos for every sauce.

So You want to be a Saucier.
Wife does all the cooking but I wanted to spice things up in the kitchen. So instead of purchasing the book "Sex in the kitchen" I bought a book about sauces. I have no experience in cooking. I wanted fresh ingredients and more flavor than store bought. Grew a garden for the first time and wanted "Farm to Table" if I may.I read the book entirely without even starting a sauce and it actually gave me an appetite. Kind of like the food channel. Recipes are very easy but time consuming. Follow all the hints to a tee and things will get tasty in the kitchen. I love making brown and white sauces which are a base for most other sauces and the flavor is wonderful. Home made sauces are very very delicious. Buy a good saucier pan. I love this book and it is well worth it.
