I watched videos and read reviews for weeks before choosing the 5188. I had high expectations for the chair and I’m pleased to say they were surpassed in all areas. My previous chair was $700 new (I got for free) and this is way better.The mesh is comfortable, lumbar support and headrest fit my body well (I’m 6’2 so I was worried), wheels are more quiet than expected, and everything feels solid.I didn’t see myself utilizing the foot rest but I really like it. It’s nice to kick back and listen to my lectures/watch YouTube. The back locks almost at 90* so I have much better posture and don’t lean forward like in my last chair.Great value for the price.

Definitely a great buy for the money. Only complaint is that the lumbar support is lackluster. Overall a great chair.

Bad experience. Gives hip pain within 10 minutes of sitting. Have to frequently stand up now to make the pain go away.I am young, healthy, active and no hip problems. I'm also a master at assembling furniture. The chair was perfectly assembled according to the instructions.Literally bought this after researching hours for a chair that I can sit in all day for work. Extremely disappointed that I wasted $230 on a chair that does the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I purchased it for.Without a doubt the absolute worst chair I've ever purchased.Don't fall for the overly positive YouTube reviews, as I did.

This is by far the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. It is ergonomically correct to my lower back. It's an extremely heavy chair And it took me a while to put it together but definitely worth it

I was able to get the tilt to lock, but it was not easy. I'll try adjusting a few screws to see that helps. I have been using the chair for the last month and its comfortable. Has the best arm rests for this price range. I do think the foot stool is not practical when resting your calves. I agree with video reviews stating its in the way and should be removed all together. Other than that I love the chair. Updating my review to 4 stars

This chair is fantastic! Not only is it comfortable and supportive for long hours of work or gaming, but it also has a footrest that pops out, making it perfect for relaxing. I had high hopes for this chair, but it failed to meet expectations. The lumbar support is poorly designed and feels more like a rigid block than actual support. Despite the "ergonomic" claim, sitting in this chair for extended periods caused back and neck discomfort. The footrest feels flimsy and awkward to use, as it doesn't lock securely in place. The adjustable arms are frustratingly loose and tend to wobble. Assembly was also a hassle, with unclear instructions and poorly aligned screw holes. For the price, I expected far better comfort and durability.

so far its a good chair, comfy, good features, and well built.
