Good quality
At the time of this review, the listing for this fire hose from BITOTU seems to state the same 4 details over and over throughout the listing without specific details. I am unable to determine if this hose is double jacketed. I can say it is 2β with brass fittings and feels heavy duty. We live in a rural area where there has been multiple fires that have burned thousands of acres of land within 15-60 miles of our home, burning countless homes in the last few years. There is a tremendous fire load based wildlife programs and farming techniques. Add to that the wind and the dry times of the year, rough areas that other land owners cannot defend, and we have to have a way to protect our own acreage. My husband has had years of volunteer training and has built several tank systems that are on the back of pickups along with large fixed position tanks on our land. He had been using some fire hose that was decommissioned but was happy to get this new hose. The price at the time of this review is $159.95. With a better description of the product from the seller, I cannot determine for comparison, if this was a great deal or just a good deal. So for now, I will rate is as a good deal - 4 Stars.

Perfect.
I have a sewage pump that occasionally sees duty pumping out a flooded basement here and there. It has a 2" output, but up until now I've been using a 2" to 3/4" garden hose adapter to move water with it. It WORKS, but obviously the flow rate takes a serious hit with a 3/4" garden hose when it's made to take a 2" hose. This goes right on the pump, no adapters required. As I got this at a time when the basement isn't flooded (thankfully - always best to get these things BEFORE you need them), I can't give actual flow rate numbers, but as someone who is trained in both firefighting and pumps, I can promise that this will flow MUCH better than a 3/4" garden hose. It won't even be comparable. If you have a pump with a 2" discharge like I have, don't choke it with a garden hose. Get a PROPER hose like this one. Very happy with this, and it now rests happily with my pump ready for action. 5 stars.
