It replaced my pitcher, which I had for about 15-20 years, and it seems just as good.

Turned out to be great cost compared to name brand & work just as good!

My Vitamix blender pitcher is about 4 years old and had developed what looked like a film on the inside of the pitcher. I think the "film" was actually where the plastic had been scratched or worn away by frequent blending of ice and other frozen items. The pitcher is still functional, but unattractive. Replacement with an original Vitamix pitcher was prohibitively expensive, so I decided to try this alternative.The pitcher, lid and blade look nearly identical. However, my original Vitamix pitcher is heavier, and the plastic feels thicker, smoother and more substantial. The original lid likewise feels thicker, heavier and more substantial. I think the replacement pitcher has a feeling of brittleness that the original doesn't have.The replacement pitcher fit my Vitamix perfectly and works well. I just question whether the replacement will be as long-lasting, given the differences in the plastic.I would rate this pitcher as 4 star in comparison to the original. I'll update my review and rating, if my opinion or rating changes after continued usage of the product.

Nice large pitcher that blends lots of greens at once. Its worth the money especially since the old one saw better days. Fits under the kitchen cabinets.

Doesn't blend as well as the original and the handle broke after 5 months use
