Quality of materials impressive.
Arrived quickly and was undamaged. This radiator cover is easily the best self assembly piece of furniture I've ever bought. What impresses principally is the quality of the MDF used, the fit of each part and the great paint finish. In addition the instructions are concise and the screws and plugs are supplied in individually numbered small packs making it almost impossible to mix them. I will certainly search for this product name should I need a similar item in the future.

Looks great, eady construction
Delivered next day. Came as separate pieces but great instructions with all the necessary screws etc. Very easy to follow to construct and looks fantastic. Has a great finish to it.

Damaged
I had previously bought the larger version of this which was great. This one however has a chunk missing from the top corner and a significant scratch across the front. It's a shame because it's really easy to assemble and looks good. Disappointed to say the least.

It is thin MDF with small screws but good value
The overall effect of this cover is great - covers up an old radiator while providing a nice shelf. Some issues as others have noted with the fact that it is thin MDF. Some screw pilot holes didn't match up and one screw didn't start in but I was able to move the fitting and do two new holes without too much bother. Nice but it the fasteners to the wall to keep it stable and in place. Sizes were true to description so covered radiator perfectly. As such for the price it is really good value.

Screws and brackets insufficient and required repair
Built as per instruction but when I came to lift and position it the shelf lifted straight off because the screws and hardware are not sufficient. I purposely selected what I thought would be the better quality product - it was more expensive than cheaper alternatives - so I'm disappointed this turns out to be incorrect. I want more radiator covers in the house and the idea was if this was a good buy I'd get more. Sadly this is not a good buy and I'll look elsewhere for the others.I looked at the return options since I didnt trust a replacement at this price but the options to 'put it right' are not good enough since it would require dismantling and repackaging which is too much hassle for a defective product. Instead I repaired it with the fixings and glue I have. You don't get this buying from the high street as you can inspect the products built to assess value for money. And local smaller retailers offer more personal support with some that will come out and fix on site.It looks good, in situ, now Ive fixed it but im not confident it would survive relocation and have doubts about longevity consudering how easilythe shelf screws came out. This is not worth the price paid which was £49.
