Nice to not have to plugin to car
The device connected to the cellphone easy, connects to car without any issues. The quality and sound are good. I have not noticed any lag. It is compact enough to not get into way. For the price it solved my hounding hte dealership for updates.

Great prouct
Love this. Works well. Nice quality. This allows my husband's phone to be the main phone on our car system. This unit allows me to use my phone, only when needed

Good gadget to have with cars that don't natively support wireless android auto
I had been using a similar device branded as Motorola for my 2019 mazda3 for the past year or so but every few months it would have a series of errors that required a lot of troubleshooting until eventually the device became unusable. I got this one to replace it and i have been happy with the ease of setup and the lack of errors after several months of use. However, this device attempts to continue to operate on the car's idle power while the car is switched off, so if I'm waiting in my car with the engine off or if I'm situated very close by, my phone is constantly connecting and instantly disconnecting the android auto mode. It's a little annoying. Can't complain otherwise, this is a useful and convenient device.

Love it! 3+ months and zero issues or complaints, works as advertised
I love this gadget! I’ve been using it for 3 months and it works great. It loads automatically upon turning on CarPlay. There is virtually no latency with the apps and it’s never lost the connection (like I’ve read in some reviews and which seems to be a recurring problem for other brands). On maybe 2 occasions the volume isn’t as loud as it would be using a cable, but it’s restored after unplugging and plugging it back in. And it’s so nice to not have to connect and disconnect my iPhone every time I get in the car. No complaints at all.

Easy to use and works great!
Easy to setup and works great. I don’t have to have my phone out and connects as soon as I start the car.

Best thing I've bought all year (aside from my new car!)
Works with both my Android & iPhone. Once in a while I'll get choppy sound output; usually due to one of my phones (or maybe my Jeep?) gets very aggressive with the bluetooth connections. When that happens, I know I have to check all devices and make sure everything is unpaired.. all devices must be unpaired from Bluetooth for this device to work properly. The device will take care of any Bluetooth connections it needs. (Bt must be functional, just not paired.) Keep Wifi on too! Your phone(s) will seamlessly connect every time. The auto makers should be ashamed of themselves. It's completely possible to go wireess with carplay & Android auto, too.

Worked Well...for 3 months
It worked well for a few months, until one day it didnt. Nice, small, and handy--i put it inside my car's center arm rest for its usb plug. I used a data-blocking cable for my phone itself so as to keep my phone charged, so the car would only recognize this wireless device. Worked really reliably and well.A few days ago it just...stopped working. It began cycling through connecting, disconnecting every second, for the entire duration of a trip. I tried replugging it, or "forgetting" it in my phone, but the problem never resolved. I gave this an extra star because it worked for awhile, but i did expect it to last better than three months, and that is really disappointing. The device lived its life inside my arm rest, so it's not like i dropped or abused it. It just gave up working without warning.

It seemed like a good idea at the time ...
[edit: If it doesn't recognize your Android phone, go into your phone settings and search for Android Auto and ensure that "Wireless Android Auto" is enabled]Since I am looking to get a wireless Android Auto adapter, it seemed like a good idea to buy one that also supports CarPlay, since I could get the extra feature for no extra cost compared to other products. Unfortunaely this product is "stuck" in CarPlay mode and and there is no way to switch it to Android Auto. I have emailed support and after two days they request pictures of it not working. So now I wait for another response. I'm pretty sure this is going to be returned, but I wanted to give support a shot. So far not impressed. The manual has three pages, with pictures, of how to setup CarPlay support on iPhone. Then, for Andoid Auto, it says "it's similar to iPhone, just do that". Ok, I did that, several times and waited more that five minutes for it to figure out that it is an Android phone that it is paired with.[edit] I received an response 24hrs later from support asking for my order # and pics showing that the product doesnt work. I included all info about my phone model and OS version, etc. After that, support emails a link to download the same product manual that I received with the product - basically support's response was "read the friendly manual".At this point I told them I was returning the product and I ordered another wireless AA device to replace this one. Support responded with actual real troubleshooting information that could have been supplied in reponse to my first email. They suggested I do a lot of things that did not work, but one of the last steps was to open the Android Auto app (there is no such app) and enable "wireless android auto", which got me thinking there must be settings for Android Auto somewhere in the phone settings. Once enabled, everything worked. I'm still returning it as the other device arrived and it is smaller.
