GV Snowshoes Ratchet Technology Snowshoe Bindings, Colors may vary

I have a cheap pair of steel snowshoes. The ratchet straps have always been brittle and easy to jam. Finally, one of the straps snapped in half on the right shoe. Since the bindings are held on by screws and bolts, they are easy to take off. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate any parts from the snowshoe manufacturer (Winterial).I bought these bindings figuring they were worth a try. I had to poke one hole to make the screws line up, but I was able to easily retrofit them onto my steel snowshoes using the original hardware.My first trip out onto the snowy trails and right away I noticed the ratchet straps are much smoother and easier to latch/unlatch. The binding held up well and was comfortable the entire time.I know these are designed for mesh snowshoes, but they can also work well with steel pairs.

The old (black) binding on one shoe broke prompting me to seek new bindings. The GV bindings were a perfect fit. They are much easier to put on and take off and more comfortable for my feet. I am enjoying my snowshoes now more than ever.

Installed these bindings on traditional Vermont Tubbs that are 10" x 36". I replaced the original leather straps that were dry rottiing. I used the snowshoes in deep snow in Montana. They kept me Sorels snug and were really easy to put on and take off. They stayed tight and I'm very pleased with the performance! Plan to buy another set for a second pair of the same! Highly recommend.

High quality binding with great design and built with high-quality materials. Fit my wooded snow shoes perfectly, Love having the metal cleat which my other wood shoes don't have.

These are very easy to use. I had a smaller new style pair of snowshoes and they had this type of binding on them and I liked them.I had bought a pair of military snowshoes and the bindings kept coming off my feet every time i used them I would struggle every year trying to keep my feet from coming out of the bindings. Tried a few homemade bindings but was not quite what I wanted and they had a few flaws. Then I saw this binding and I knew that they worked great on my other ones and Knew they would work.The only thing with these and my other ones is the strap in back. But I took on both pairs electrical tape and taped them by the clasp loop and since I am the only one using them it works good. I even wore a smaller pair of boots and there was lots of room but they never slipped around when using them.

Didn't care for the heel strap, but have only used once so may take a little more practice.

Bought some "guaranteed" L.L. Bean snow shoes 4 years ago. The bindings, mostly plastic, broke. When I called Bean I was told they would not replace the bindings. Nice. Found these GV bindings online at Amazon. Delivered FAST. Superior bindings in every way to the ones on my snow shoes that came stock. Would highly recommend. I am buying another pair to replace bindings that are not shot on another pair of snow shoes as these are so nice to use. Highly recommend.

These were simple to install and work great on my wooden Iverson snowshoes. I had issues with my toes sliding forward with the bindings I got from the Iverson company, but these solve that problem for me!They are a tad large with my smaller feet, but they work perfectly.
