Super powerful
So I normally use a non-premium branded 'jetboil' style burner to take on our camping or hiking trips so I can heat up water for drinks (or baby milk!) or dried foods etc. They're great but as with everything, they have limitations.Where this comes in for me is for food cooking, like frying with a pan etc. It says only uses fire maple branded gas cans - I'm sure all the manufacturers say that, it does work with other brands with the appropriate screw thread. I've just used it as such, and I've used it with an adapter to your traditional style camping gas bottles which don't have a screw and have a push-twist setting. And boy this thing kicks out a ridiculous amount of head. It took 1m11seconds to boil 100ml of water in a tri-ply solid stainless pan. The screw which moderates the gas flow is good and allows you to dial the heat in well. I like the design of the legs which open up then sort of click into place giving you confidence it's not going to fall over. And because it has quite a wide footprint, it feels solid. Again, jet-boil style burners are tall and top heavy as the gas cannister is below the burner - not ideal for heavy food cooking or on unstable ground - this is great for that. What it won't be great for is in windy conditions. It does attempt to have a wind deflector around the flame but this is more suited to a sheltered environment, though because it's so powerful I'd imagine it could cope with a decent wind. I find the stainless gas hose is plenty long enough to keep your cannister out of the way but close enough to use the flow screw. It has it's own ignitor which is nice. They've made it on thin metal so that it doesn't get too hot/cools down quickly which is good for re-lighting it if you need to briefly turn it off. But it is a tiny bit flimsy - not sure how you'd get around that. Because it's solid stainless steel it does get very hot and transmits the heat down the legs, and keeps the heat for quite some time (unlike aluminium) so be careful and give it plenty of time to cool down. Finally it has a nice plastic case you can pack it all away in which is a nice touch - and it screws shut.I think it's very well priced currently at £34.95 and highly recommend. Even if you need to keep something in the house in case of a power cut!

A powerful, sturdy and stable camping stove, large pot stand 🔥
This is a strong and sturdy 3200w camping stove with a large pot stand , it folds out very easily to form a very stable stove that can be used with small or larger pots or frying pans as the stand is wide and has grips on each of the supports. It has a piezo ignition, so no need for a lighter or matches, the ring surrounding the flames also acts as a windshield, it's quite a robust and durable looking gas stove ideal for cooking any meal at camp.It folds up nicely into a strong protective case for storage and to keep it safe and secure in a backpack. It's a powerful stove that can boil water in around 3 minutes , a long hose makes it easy to attach to the gas canister.A good quality sturdy stove to use with frying pans, pots , kettles outdoors 🔥
