Prior to purchase I did a ton of research on what makes a good cutting board. Looked in many different places to find what i needed on my budget. I definitely took a big chance on this and it was worth it!! I bought 2 different sizes of this board. I got them on Black Friday sale. But if you were to pay full price I still think I would buy them again because they are that well made. They arrived in beautiful packaging. They are super beautiful, sturdy, and large (heavy too but that should be expected) please make sure you inspect them for cracks or splits, unfinished areas. CLEAN THEM EXTREMELY WELL PRIOR TO USE. They did come a bit smelly, but after a good clean and oiling they were fine. Do NOT use the dishwasher, EVER! they are super great for cutting veggies. I would say they are easy to clean and maintain if you’re willing to carry them to the sink for that weekly scrub and a good oiling so they stay beautiful. A daily wipe down with water and vinegar is sufficient. The edge grain is exactly what I was looking for. I avoid cutting raw meats on these though. My other thing is they are a bit slippery and very very slightly uneven (not a huge deal) but I got these silicone mats to put under and it solved the problem I would absolutely recommend these board to anyone looking for a beautiful high quality edition to their kitchen.

At first I ordered Teak Cutting Board in size 24"x 18", motivated by my, somewhat, megalomanic instincts. It was great but way to large and way to heavy.I decided to exchange it for board size 20"x15" and voila, it fits my needs absolutely perfectly.The EZ board is gorgeously beautiful, so much so that my wife, watching me how I was fascinating by the beauty of this thing commented that it looks to her that I'll never ever use it for what it's supposed to be used for, and that I'll never allow anybody to touch it.Beside the beauty and gorgeous quality of the Teak end grane wood, the fit and finish in this cutting board is testament to mastery of artisans who made it. Every detail is taken care of and finish is absolutely prfect. It's hard to imagine more beautiful and better made cutting board. The Teak wood end grain's beauty and quality is unsurpassed for cutting boards in my most humbled opinion. It's, also, extraordinary good for saving fine Japanese knife's razor sharp edges.Folks, don't think twice. Just get it and enjoy the beauty that will make your cooking experience full of joy day in and day out for long time.

I bought this board in January 2025. After 3 months of use (using it for cutting once per week, applying mineral oil once per month), one piece near center of the board is starting to come loose, which is very disappointing. I liked the look and weight of the board and enjoyed showing it off to friends.Update on 4/30/2025:The seller reached out to me after I submitted the original review and offered to send me a replacement. Today I received the new cutting board and it looks beautiful. I am updating to 4-star rating because of the exceptional quality of service.

Cutting board warped within 2 months. I have 4 cutting boards. Marble one for meats. Wood one for veggies and fruits. Another wood one for cheeses and deli meats. And this big one I got for special occasions like let’s say Thanksgiving Turkey.. well it didn’t even make it to summer. I used the board a few times I loved it, it’s huge takes almost my whole counter. Everytime I used it about 1 or twice every 2 weeks I would wash dry and mineral oiled it 3 times since I have had it. I make sure I dry it off and set it on my counter sideways leaning on the wall. This board has now warped and turned into an unusable piece of wood I must now discard. Disappointing that the Walmart and target boards have lasted me years, while being under $50 and this board has not even lasted 2 months with gentle, sparse use.Edit:They reached out and offered a refund and then a replacement. After sending the pictures they asked for they send me a link on how to flatten the board to fix the issue and mention how I have had it for 5 months and must have been improper storage. Mind you I made this review after two months of usage which I can count on one hand. And which has not been used since then. In short I have no refund no replacement wasted my time and told to flatten my own board lol what a joke.

Awesome board! I wanted to replace my bamboo board because it was ruining my bread knife. I make all my own breads and a good bread knife is essential, but that bamboo was destroying my knives, and bread knives cannot be sharpened. Of course the new board now has some cut marks, but I really don’t see how that can be avoided. I’ve got some food grade mineral oil that I’m going use on it, and that should help. I googled how to care for your new board and that’s something everyone should do if you’re not already familiar with cutting board care.

We have been looking for a large cutting board for our kitchen island that will stay out all the time because we use it daily. This was the perfect choice! It is very sturdy, heavy and well built. It is nice and thick and has the grooves on the sides for easy lifting. It has a small logo on the bottom corner that is about 1”x1” on the same side that has the groove to catch juices when cutting food. The other side of the cutting board does not have a groove and no logo. This was a great purchase for the money. We have been using it for a week now and my husband and I are both extremely happy with this purchase. If you are on the fence, don’t be, go ahead and purchase this. You will be happy that you did.
