Rick Steves Istanbul: With Ephesus & Cappadocia Paperback – November 19, 2024

Great book! We were very recently seen around Istanbul carrying this in the metro, at sites. Wish Steve went everywhere. We have used him for years. When we lived in England and traveled frequently to England, Scotland, Wales, Europe...my kids got very tired of hearing me say, "Rick Steves says..." :-). We don't always agree with his ratings. He gives the Roman Cisterns only 2 stars and it is definitely a 5 star attraction that shouldn't be missed.

Everything you wanted to know about the specific areas. I was looking for hotels near the historic sites. Rick has them including where I stayed on a previous trip

I really like the depth of detail, especially concerning transportation, and found it super superior to lonely planet and rough guides.

The best travel guidebook series. We used this in Istanbul last month and it made sightseeing a breeze. Great walking tours and details. We always appreciate the restaurant and lodging suggestions.
