I had a x10 loupe before so this takes a bit of getting used to using higher and lower but once you catch the hallmark it is very clear indeed. The light works brilliant for dirty hallmarks but sometimes reflects on the item too much so you just turn it off. It is better to have the option of both as some need the light and others are better read in natural light. All in all this is a great buy. The price was great. I’m really happy with the purchase and recommend to anyone wanting to find out more about their jewellery. It has picked up everything I struggled to read with my x10 loupe.

Nice and clear, good magnification and the light is handy. On mine the light can flicker and returns to normal after I turn it off and on again. If it wasn't for that I'd give 5 stars.

Ideal for the job required to do

The edges of the metal slipcase (not the plastic box) are very sharp and cut my fingers. I had to take emery paper to smooth them down to a safe level.

I purchased this item to help in the repairing of very small mechanical items and I must say it has proved to be just the job.The addition of the light unit makes the viewing so much clearer,a great help in allowing me to find the fault.The unit came with it's own storage box with battery replacement key,very useful and compact.For the price I consider it very good value for the money especially if you don't require,like me,a professional unit,well satisfied.
