Toto Past To Present 1977-1990

Like the CD has mostly popular music on it.

I bought this because Toto is one of the great bands to come out of the 60s 70s 80s. The bands today can't compare to these old bands. There are a few good bands today but not many.

The CD was fine but the jewel case was shattered in many, many pieces. I have some spare cases so I replaced the original.

If you like Asia(the band), you might like Toto(the band). Although not quite as loud as say "Heat of the Moment" by Asia, Toto has multiple hits like "Rosanna(light rock personified)", "Hold the Line(slightly harder than their other stuff)", and "Africa(a light rock station all-time favorite)". Although not nearly as hard rock as most 80's rock bands(Poison, Whitesnake, etc.), if you like a kinder, gentler form of rock, Toto is your best band choice.

IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO DO A REVIEW ON TOTO GREATEST HITS? NO. SO LET 5 STAR SPEAK FOR ITSELF. BUT I WILL SAY THIS I LOVE THE ORGANIC 70'S TIMELESS SOUND WITH A TOUCH OF A R&B UNDERTONE ON SOME SONGS

I've always been a fan of Toto, even thru all the lineup changes, other than Lukather. This is an awesome CD to have if you're a fan because it not only carries the great tunes of the past, it also has four new songs at the time recorded with a new vocalist. Definitely one to have for your music collection.
