These were great to use with clay and ceramic pots! Highly recommend these if you need drain holes in your outdoor pots!

I'm really impressed as to how easily these cut holes in glass bottles. I'm using these to make planters out of wine bottles with a basic cordless drill, and they work great. I put the bottle in a plastic tub with some water for cooling and dust control, start at a ~45 degree angle to "catch" the edge of the bit and keep it from wandering, and then keep a light pressure so as to not shatter the bottle and let the tool do the cutting, with really good results. Leaves a sharp edge, fine for my purposes but YMMV. Safety glasses a must!!

Bits wear out quickly, Although they do the job for a short period!

This product exceeded our expectations. We drilled old crocks and planters (over 10). The set looks unused. Three of our antique crocks were 1/2 inch thick. The husband thought we would throw out the set when we were finished. This product is very high quality and carefully packed and put in the tool box. The price makes it all the more a great deal.

Bought kit for $1 less then single drill bit at Lowes. Have already used 1 size for 4 holes and another for 1 hole. Great deal.

It did cut a hole... but it bent and now wobbles. That bit is dead. I tried to bend it back into place. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for.

I made a light out of a hand made vase for my wife..These bits worked very nice, used a battery drill on slow speed, put the vase in water in a tub & put water level right at hole I was drilling.. don't push hard & you have to keep cool with water..try to keep drill as straight as possible..Worked great!
