I bought this (as well as the Female version) to put on my honey warmer (18-gallon heated honey tank). I mixed and matched one female piece with one male piece so that I didn't have to add an extra M/M or F/F adapter. I have not seen any problem with the stainless steel and they are well-made.

This is a very well machined quality part. I used the 1" version to add a tri-clover port to a Spike Brewing Flex in conjunction with a couple 1" nuts from Norcal brewing solutions (that conveniently have a grove for the o-ring).No additional drilling or fumbling was needed and the part was long enough to allow the tri-clamp not to interfere with the lid. The ID is not large enough to accept the spike CIP ball but a smaller CIP ball would probably fit. I also used the other part to convert my utility cleaning pump to a full port tri-clamp connector that is now compatible with everything else. Great product.

Nice TC to male NPT. The gasket included makes an incredibly tight seal (difficult to separate). There are no notches to tighten the NPT to the female, so only 4 stars. These are longer than the others I've purchased before, but the quality is good and I have no leaks.

Purchased for small winery use. Good quality and excellent pricing. When coupled with Amazon Prime it saves countless hours of looking for parts, shopping and either arranging delivery or picking up the stuff.

High quality, makes a good seal, clean threads. Yes the two piece are somewhat hard to separate but it's really a non issue just gently press the tip of a flat-head screwdriver between the pieces (into the gasket) then twist, they come right apart. Will buy more when I need them.
