Delicious and chewy
These noodles are unlike any I’ve ever had. They’re spicy, tangy, sour, and very savory with lots of umami notes. The noodles are incredibly unique, and they retain their chewy texture and really grab onto the sauce. If you’re looking for sweeter noodles, try the sweet and spicy version by this brand, because these pack a big punch of Chinese black vinegar, shallots, and fermented black beans. It’s helpful to combine all the sauce packets (3) first in the bowl you intend to serve in, then add the hot noodles and toss to coat. I believe the quality is commensurate with the cost. If you’re on the fence, please try them.

Noodles to Love.
We love these as a starting point for lunch or dinner. It’s a good idea to add whatever veggies or protein you have as leftovers in the fridge or freezer. The noodles are slightly spicy and not soggy. We love not throwing down an entire paycheck on food !And we really love food.

Noodles great, flavoring less so
The noodles are excellent, firm yet tender, some of the best I have had and almost on par with freshly made noodles. The flavoring however lacks balance and is more spicy and salty than sweet. At almost $6 a pack it’s also quite pricy, but if you need a quick snack these aren’t a bad option.

Delicious
I bought these because the highly rated chili crisp noodles were out-of-stock. They are delightful, not a second-best experience at all.I don’t routinely eat spicy foods, so, I did have a bit of an out-of-body experience eating a bowl prepared with all of the chili oil. So, gird yourself, prepare your mind!I look forward to bringing these to work and monopolizing the microwave with my work-arounds for the recommended 6 minute boiling preparation.

Noodles: amazing. Chili: meh. Crisp: no.
I was pretty excited for this entry while trying out ramen-style noodles, but this one was a mixed result. The noodles are really great - thick in the middle, with thin serrated sides that pick up sauce and flavor. I'd call them stingray noodles. Unfortunately, there are three sauce packets that all fail to impress. Not only do you need to squeeze multiple packets out (for a 'fast' dish), but one of them is so thick with small ingredients that you can't empty it out unless you mix in water like it's a condensed soup can. The end result is just ok - it attempts to replicate the mouth-numbing Sichuan peppercorn, but it doesn't hold a candle to the real deal.Eating this feels like mostly bare noodles, with too much oil and then little 'meaty' nuggets out of the packets. There are so many better options for spice hounds, and while this does bring something new with the premium noodles, the rest of it could use a rework.

Best noodles ever.
Full disclosure, ima big fan of Fly By Zhong sauce, I also love the Chili Crisp. As a connoisseur of noodles, these are the best I’ve ever had. They are chewy without being tough, and are the perfect holder for the incredible vinegar and soy and Zhong. A filling meal in 6 minutes. This is officially a pantry staple for me.

WOO WEE!
These are HOT. I like spice, but this is just wayyy to hot for me. I even used a teeny-tiny pinch of the spice packet. HOT!

This was nasty.
So, I ordered this because I usually order noodle kits from amazon and wanted to try something new. I've heard of Fly By Jin a few times and I thought that the more popular names from what im use to ordering would be a difference but I was wrong. I bought the Sweet and Spicy flavor, followed the instructions, took one bite and immediately threw it away. The flavor is so off. It's kinda like its void of an authenticity, and I am one to talk because I eat noodles ALL THE TIME and the range of chili oil is my favorite condiment. But this was a disappointment, it was so bland. If you are looking for better tasting noodles, try the NOODOLOGY brand, they are way better. The only reason im even writing this review is because I'm kinda upset at myself for trying something new and wasting money on it.
