The Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixer EDP is prefect for Amber fiends.The scent itself is very warm; has a fresh laundry aspect. After 30 minutes the patchouli comes out to add a crackle in that otherwise warm cozy ambient. This would be nice as a winter fragranceThe wear time is great at 6+ hours.I will say for the price, the cap does feel a bit flimsy. It's made of very thin plastic that could pop off or snap if you look at it too long.Overall despite the low quality bottle, it has great wear time and I'd recommend this to those who like warm cozy amber concepts.

Marc Jacobs Perfect Elixir is my favorite Marc Jacobs perfume. Because it is one of the few pretty fruity florals that last all day. There are way too many pretty perfumes that just just don't last.

Smells delicious

I'm so glad I was able to sample this scent because it's not something I would have picked for myself, but I love it. It's sweet, but not overly sweet. It's not something that seems juvenile to me and would be perfect for someone around my age, in their 40's. I love the floral notes in it because they are not overpowering as well. The first time I wore it I received a compliment from a co-worker. It doesn't last as long as I'd like it to but it also hangs around for a few hours. The color of the juice fits perfectly the scent of the perfume. I think this would be great year-round, but would be especially nice during Spring and Summer. I think this is a crowd-pleasing scent but it's definitely extremely feminine.
