When they advertised that this would not just mask the scents in the air, but it would eliminate them I had high hopes. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case for me. The scent of the beads is very strong and did a great job making me think this was finally going to be the answer to my problems. Unfortunately the scent of the beads faded after about a day on all four jars I opened. I could reenergize the scent by shaking the jar, but that was a short-term fix.Ultimately the deciding factor of whether these work well, are worth the money, and do as advertised was whether the odor was eliminated when the jar had been depleted. The verdict is no, as soon as the beads were gone I could still smell the odor I was trying to eliminate. And no, it’s not like I was trying to cover the odor of an unemptied trash can or a dead animal. We have pets, and even with daily vacuuming and frequent dusting the room just smell like pets (not urine or feces) even when they are not in it. So, for me I will not be buying again because they do not eliminate the odor, they just mask it.
