Before my wife's knee surgery the hospital offered the option of purchasing an ice machine to aid the healing process. Purchased a large silicon cold bag for the first knee, which worked well but had to be in the freezer for a couple of hours before using again. Decided to research the machine as a more efficient option. Picked the eluga.pro as the best value for quality and reliability. We have been very satisfied so far. Simple to set up and use. I use 4 frozen bottles of water and the water stays ice cold all day. Wife loves the automatic adjustable timer. Been using it every day for over a week now. No problems, no leaks.

We froze 10 water bottles and put 5 in the water we put in machine while the other 5 were in the freezer and we switched out the water (ice) bottles when needed for cold water. The trick is to keep the water really cold. It works well. You can select time running and time off.

I want wish I could give it 5 stars but the on/off programming control button is cheap! It works if you turn it on and off. But as far as setting it to a time limit, that doesn’t work. I just push it until it starts and gently lay it down so it doesn’t reset or turn itself off. For the amount I paid I wouldn’t expect it to be made as cheap.A few Pros:It works and it stays wrapped around my knee.It stays cold for a decent amount of time.So, it really helped me with my knee replacement, 4 stars.I’d honestly give it 3 1/2 because of the quality.Again, it works way better then just ice packs!!!I used ice packs instead of ice in the cooler, the water will stay cold longer. Using ice does work as well, it will get extremely cold! The hassle of dumping/scooping water out once the ice melts can be a mess.Once I can really look at it I may just buy a timer and replace the one on here.

A must-have for knee replacement surgery. Still using it after 4 weeks to reduce swelling, especially after physical therapy. Stays in place, easy to haul around. I left the water in it and each day, replaced a frozen water bottle with another. Didn’t need the timer type.

very simple to operate without the timer unit or with. Easy to move with the carry handle and relatively compact when stored with most of it able to fit inside the cooler. Holds the water cold for a long time using frozen water bottles which are easy to swap out. Does not leak at hose connections.

This was fabulous after my knee replacement surgery, a real life saver. However, part of the hose connector at the igloo came apart causing it to leak and we cannot figure out how to repair it. I sent numerous emails to the company email address that was included in the packaging, including photos requesting assistance for replacement parts. This fell on deaf ears with zero response from the company.Two years later, we needed a working machine for yet another surgery. So we ordered a new one and the failure point on the original unit was reengineered on the new version, which indicates they recognized a design flaw.We are so disappointed in the company's customer service as we have now invested another $200.Buyer Beware.We would love to hear from the company about this.

Worked perfectly for post knee replacement surgery. Great size, easy to manage, silent, love the fact that we could program it to run during the day or night. Used with five 16 oz frozen water bottles. Easy. Highly recommend if you have to do surgery!!
