An adorable set that I highly recommend to parents with more than one child, it can be a great gift idea for them. We successfully replaced the phones that both boys had become addicted to and offered them a little fun and exercise on this occasion.It's something new for them, they haven't faced this technology until now, but I see them very happy in their game, one goes upstairs, the other sits downstairs and they give each other instructions about different games of theirs.The two devices are small and light, but just right for their tiny hands. The range of action is enough for us, they also play in the yard and have never lost the signal, but the yard is not very wide either.The sound emitted is clear, and the two front buttons ensure extremely easy navigation. The two hanging ropes are very welcome, ensuring maneuverability during the game, without having to leave the stations down whenever they have something to do.Highly recommended, especially with the current price reduced by 33%, it's a real bargain.

My review may not be too useful for others as I actually brought these to use as a baby monitor type thing for my 3 year old. We have had an issue with my son where he gets out of bed in the night because he needs something but instead of coming in to wake us up, he just stands outside his door. Not only is it rather creepy but we've also found him just asleep on the hall floor a few times.I had the bright idea to get these and have one by his bed and one by ours so that if he needed us he didnt even need to get out of bed.At first I was worried because just turning them on or pressing the talk button make the LOUDEST noise and I thought that would be scaring us all out our minds in the middle of the night... however there are settings you can choose to control the volume so there's no noise at all. I'm one of the least technical minded people ever and I found them really easy to use.In the end it didn't work though because having them switched on overnight for 12 hours and then 2 hours for naps in the day meant they were draining the batteries quite fast and they do make a loud beeping when the battery is low so we didn't want it going off in the night and waking him up.However, I completely understand that they weren't supposed to be used for this function so I have rated them based purely on being used as walkie talkies.As walkie talkies they're really good. I cant really comment on range as with my son only being 3, when we play with them he's usually not that far away from me. We've used them playing hide and seek type games around the woods and had great fun. My son also thinks it's great fun to use them to order snack and drinks when he's playing in his room and I'm downstairs.Think we'll use them a lot for outdoor fun as he gets older.
