Smart and easy to use with good quality images
This is a great value endoscopic camera.Battery life is good and charging is easy. The business end of the scope is definitely waterproof as my last excursion with it in my toilet U bend will attest to!The overall quality is good for something in this price bracket, and it is pretty simple to use as long as you read the instructions.Picture quality is fine for the work it needs to do.It has a number of functions which will allow a range of inspections to be undertaken - not all in toilets I hasten to add.I had a need to check the insulation in my house wall, and my local bricky was offering to remove and replace a brick for a very reasonable price. But that price as 5 times more than the cost of this device.I was also able to trace some forgotten wiring prior to having a new thermostat fitted.Plenty of uses.

Excellent camera with a easy to view display!
This is a great inspection camera that is well-made and has a well-thought-out control panel on the right-hand side. The screen can be held with the right hand and the controls easily operated with the right thumb, leaving the left-hand free to control the camera. An excellent all-round design. The unit has a built-in rechargeable camera that has sufficient capacity for carrying out any 'inspection' jobs I have done to date — looking in wall cavities and checking for a leak from an enclosed toilet system. The large screen is easily viewable in an indoor or shady environment but, like most screens, suffers from reflection in bright sunlight. The camera has a reach of about 5 m but, like a lot of inspection cameras, it is difficult to control when used a full length, especially if introduced to the inspection area through a small opening. For small diameter pipe inspections, this is less of an issue. Lighting for the camera is very good and the inclusion of the side camera gives more flexibility.Included with the camera are some tools that can be attached to the camera, but I am reluctant to use these in case they fall or get knocked off. The only omission, that I can see, is the absence of a storage case to keep everything together.

Decent for the price
This is one of those 'nice to have' inspection tools that you don't know you need until you really really need one. Alternatively of course you have to call a plumber who's going to charge you a small fortune to make use of his endoscope - and the call out will be much more than the cost of this camera! We have a W.C. that's centrally located in a bungalow, which in case you don't know, is a pretty odd place to locate a W.C. What I mean by this is that all the pipes for waste water are running along the inside of internal walls before going down to an underfloor drainage. Of necessity this also means that the pipes have to bend around some pretty tight corners, and pipes with tight corners tend to get blocked, especially if there's minimal fall on the pipe - which is nearly always the case with modern bungalows. This camera allowed me to unclog such a pipe simply by making it crystal clear which part of the wall I had to take apart in order to get at the problem area. If I hadn't had it, I'd have had to take out most of the wall but with it I could be precise and so caused minimal damage that was pretty easy to put to rights afterwards. It did the job very well and made something straightforward that would have been very much more difficult without it.I haven't ever owned any similar cameras so can't honestly compare the functionality of this one to anything else. It's simple, reasonably sturdy and I found it very useful. From the feel of it I doubt it would stand up to the rigours of daily use and I don't doubt that a professional would find all manner of deficiencies I'm oblivious to. That said at this price point I think it's intended for DIY occasional use and I can see it being very handy in all kinds of situations. The only one I'm actually looking forward to is seeing what the camera shows is going on inside the various nesting boxes I have around the garden and having a look at the critters at the bottom of our wildlife pond come the summer. Not exactly it's intended use of course, but should be very interesting!

Nifty tool, perfect for spotting source leaks
I've been having issues with leakages and trying to find the source has been tricky, in came this camera which has done just the job! The kit includes every accessory you'd think you'll need for these odd jobs and the great thing isIt's also great because the in-built battery has a decent lifespan so you can use it wherever required. The included cable is 5 metres which to be honest is just enough for most UK rooms. The LED at the end of the camera has the right level of functionality to spot the darker areas as well.
