A worthy entry level telescope.
Very impressed with this telescope, I'm not expert and merely a beginner with astronomy but it gives good enough views for me and it seems well finished. I particularly like the AZ mount for its simplicity and the slow motion declination rod. I am fully aware that this is not a "high end" piece of equipment however I feel that it is a perfect starter scope for me and worth the money.

Excellent starter telescope for the money
Having spent days browsing every site I could find to look for a budget telescope that would actually work, I had actually given up when I came across this! Apparently Celestron is one of the best makes of telescope (along with Skywatcher). The telescope arrived quickly and was packaged securely. The recipient of the gift (24 year old man) loved it! It's easy to set up and easy to use. Unfortunately we've only seen the moon so far - it's been too cloudy to see anything else!) - but the detail of the craters was incredible - better than I was anticipating in fact.If you're looking for a first-time telescope and haven't got a spare £800+, try the Celestron PowerSeeker range.

An Impressive Beginner Telescope
This is an impressive beginner telescope that is a very reasonable price. The telescope is very light and easy to assemble, a decent amount of accessories are included - 3 eyepieces and 2 viewing attachment tubes (Erecting eyepiece and 3x Barlow tube).I've only had the opportunity to use the telescope for its intended moon viewing a handful of times in the months I've had it due to clouds 🙄 thanks, UK... But on the Times I've used it I've been blown away by the details I can see on the moon and for the odd bird viewing from my bedroom when they're on the neighbour's chimney.I've also bought a generic phone adapter for the scope which has allowed me to get some half decent pictures which was just under £5 on eBay. It works great despite making my telescope sag under the extra weight but I adjust the legs to compensate for the rise in the telescope which isn't too difficult and fairly stable. The downside I have found to the cheap scope is that when there's extra weight with my phone adapter or wind, it can wobble a fair bit, not the tripod but the part that connects the scope to the tripod isn't as sturdy as you'd hope. This wobble is also noticeable when using the higher zoom eyepieces as even the slightest breeze with have the view subject bouncing all over the place. With all of that being said, on the days without wind and clouds you'll definitely be impressed with the price and the image quality you get with this refractor scope 👌🏻

Good Starter Scope
Its a good entry level scope at a reasonable price, not too cheap and flimsy but obviously not as good as some of the more expensive scopes.Pros.Lightweight, can be easily moved between locationsEasy set up, had everything in place within 10 minutesTripod is very lightweightGood quality 25mm and 4mm lensComes with a 3 x Barlow for extra magnificationGood views of the Moon with the 4mm lensCan see equatorial bands of Jupiter when using the 4mm and good viewingConsFinder scope isn't great and after a few nights stargazing you realise how important it is to align your primary scope to the finder. Problem is its very flimsy, slightest adjustment knocks the view completely. Probably worth investing in a better onewhich is good for moving between locations but it can prove difficult to keep focus sometimesBarlow lens isn't great, too much light distortion, probably best used when looking at the moon Jupiter was just a blur. All in all a good starter scope to home your stargazing skills.

very flimsy stand, its unusable and very cheap, even for seasoned astronomer
Cant believe celestron sell this stuff, its a shame really, i bought this back in 2022 and it just isnt great, the mount will shift if you look at it funny or breathe on it making whatever is in view go out of view... the finder scope is very fiddly and impossible to allign, even for a seasoned astronomer like me and my brother, if you are giving this to a kid forget it!! its made of plastic entirely and the whole construction is cheap and really hard to usedo yourself a favour and just at this pricepoint get yourself a mini tabletop dobsonian style telescope from skywatcher or pay a bit more money and get atleast a celestron astromaster series or celestron inspire with a red dot finder and i promise you it will be worth it, this is a really not good telescope to start out with you will have a nightmare its a hobby killer just dont buy it!! pay a bit more and you will have alot more enjoyable experience or even just get binoculars even using your eyes to look up will be more enjoyable

Cheap Plastic..
Not very sturdy. You can't focus as it keeps shaking badly. No matter how sturdy you get the tripod, the frame is made of cheap plastic. Hence, it useful as a show piece in your library..
