Easy to install and works like brand new!
These roller are no different than the originals that came on my Pella door - same quality! The hardest part of replacing the old, worn out rollers was getting the old ones removed. I used a slide hammer with a hook attachment, but I don't know what one would do if they had no slide hammer. The old rollers are in very tight. I'd suggest watching a few YouTube videos before doing this job (that is what I did).If you need new rollers, these will work VERY well. My Pella door was made in 1989 so these rollers are for that era of Pella doors (I think up to 1991).

Perfect Fit, Door Opens Smoothly
These were a perfect fit for our older Pella sliding patio door. I adjusted the roller height to match the height of the original wheels before installing the new assemblies. The door now opens and closes so smoothly and easily that we have to be careful not to slam it open or closed. The only difficult thing about replacing these is getting the old assemblies out of the door. I watched a YouTube video and copied the method of using a slide hammer and a custom made hook to pull the old roller assemblies out of the door.

Great rollers
I ordered a set of old style rollers for my Pella door.It was taking 2 hands to open the door now I can literally open it with 1 finger. Better made than the original ones. Fairly easy to install. Pella wanted $180 an hour plus parts.

These are for older Pella sliders, no flared flanges on the outside.
I had some older, early 90's Pella sliders that were really crunchy when opening and closing. From what I can tell, Pella doesn't use too many different rollers for their door: these are for the older doors and the rollers with the flanges are for the newer doors.Removing the old rollers takes some thought, there are YouTube videos on how to do it using bearing pullers or slide hammers, but I found that a little gentle prying with a screwdriver worked just fine. Then these rollers press right in with a little strategic tapping. After thoroughly cleaning the tracks and replacing these rollers the doors glide open and closed effortlessly. Well worth the money.
