Looks so good sitting in the kitchen very stylish.Well made & it works..... really keep the coffee hot...not just warm ....hot so there is no waste!!!! Holds 4 mugs if coffee easily!! Nice pourer & I love the extras.....got to admit not quite sure what the squiggly spoons are for...but they look good.The spoon to measure the coffee is good & doubles as a clip to seal your coffee bag.

I bought this to use on a boat where a glass one would be a disaster. Also a real help to have a double walled version so that the coffee stays hot for longer even in a breeze on deck. Used it all summer 2020. It is great, well designed, keeps coffee hot for plenty of time without the need for an additional cosy cover (keeps hot longer than a different smaller insulated pot I have) and it is a large size so our family of 4 can all have mugs (not cups) of coffee at breakfast without making another pot. It is well made and finished inside and out. The plunger goes up and down smoothly. The outside is a nice shiny metal the inside is a matt finish. The top is insulated as well as the sides and I think that helps keep the heat in better. You can turn the top round to keep the heat from coming out of the spout and then turn it back to pour, but even if you don't do that (I often forget) the coffee keeps nice and hot. This is a great value purchase, works well, looks great so I would highly recommend for use anywhere, boat or house etc. In fact I am about to buy a smaller one to replace a glass version we have just broken at home. I was about to buy a replacement glass when I read all these reviews about broken glass and replacements not fitting properly etc...so I thought I should just buy one of these instead. It will be cheaper in the long run and the coffee will keep hot for longer. Ideal. Thx.

Great cafetiere, looks really nice and seems well made. Keeps the coffee hot and easy to clean. IF you're thinikng of this I'd say "go ahead" - BUT ignore the number of cups (8) as I think that's for tiny espresso type cups, we get 3 - 4 standard mugs of coffee from this (1000mL) version......

I was really pleased with this. Previously I had a glass cafetiere in a metal holder which always felt slightly unstable when I lifted it to pour, and was a pain to clean. This little cafetiere, being all of one piece, apart from the plunger & filter of course, is easy to rinse out and I don't have to worry about it breaking. The coffee, for some reason, tastes a lot fuller and richer than from the glass cafetiere. This may be because thd metal casing keeps it hotter than the glass did. I notice that the edge of the lid isn't deep enough to close off the air through the spout, so the coffee would cool down if left. I don't see this as a pronlem, since the cafetiere holds 3 mugs and if we want another mug I would just rinse it out and make some fresh coffee, I really don't like coffee left to stew on the grounds. So if you want an endless supply of coffee, you would be better buying an expensive voffee machine, but for one or two cups, I think this is perfect, and you also get spare filters, a measuring spoon, and two attractively shaped coffee spoons. I recommendthis product.

I d had a glass caffetiere for years, which broke. Got this as a replacement, and now wonder how I had put up with the old one. This is a really good product, it looks good, and has a much better internal filter, so the grounds are nearly dry. It may be my imagination, but the coffee seems to taste better, too.Another review said it kept the coffee hot longer - that bit was, well, not so hot for me. You still need a cosy. But, thats not a down side. Its well recommended.

Bought this after I accidentally smashed a glass one and I'm immediately impressed with the durability. It's extremely easy to clean, it maintains temperature for much longer than my previous glass container and filter quality is also really good at this price so the taste is fine.

This is brilliant!Bought a glass one a few years back which had been perfectly fine but got back from holiday, having left in in the draining rack in by the window and it had completely split the glass, bought this one as a quick replacementBeing double walled it really does hold it's heat - I usually make up a full jug in the morning about 7.30am leave it to brew, make up two cups then put the rest in a thermal flask, generally the coffee is still drinkable by around 1/2 in the afternoon, but with this because it looses so little heat in the morning whilst brewing, my coffee in my flask was still warm gone 5pm!Had bought something totally unrelated from this brand before which I thought had been good quality which is why I went for this particular jug over any others, the accessories it comes with I haven't used but seems they a decent quality too.If I had to give it any criticism I would say the filter is much harder to clean without taking the whole thing apart but on the flip side I don't have any coffee residue floating in my mugs like I had with my last one, so might be more difficult to clean but clearly does a better job actually as a filter!
