Very happy with this purchase. Durable and extremely well designed. Handles are easily and quickly detachable/attachable with multiple connection points for portrait and landscape shooting setup. Many connection points for additional accessories like lighting, mics and even was able to attach my v-mount battery and Apple AirTag for security! Rig is lightweight and NOT bulky, yet fells solid and very durable. Also includes remote shutter control button on handle that works great and looks better than most similar type of mobile device cages! GREAT work on this product SmallRig!!!

The SmallRig kit is very well-built, solid-feeling and while it doesn't match the stability of a gimbal, it also avoids the privacy concerns around the software used by gimbals. The light is good, and works well for close-to-moderate range shots, and the microphone is very effective. All up, this kit will make a dramatic difference vs. using your phone alone for videos.

I don't usually do reviews; however, this item was so impressive i thought I'd review. I purchased this to pair with my new iPhone 16 Pro Max 2TB with Defender Series Otter Box to go and take photos of a wedding and i must say that this item helped immensely. It help me keep the phone steady, it provided the extra lighting that was needed as well as i was able to mount it on my standard tripod and take the remote button off and actually join in on the photo. I would definitely recommend this item to family & friends.

I recently ordered the SmallRig Universal Quick Release Phone Cage Kit Basic on Amazon (order placed on March 30, 2025).Unfortunately, the wireless shutter button is not functioning properly. It does not pair with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. The battery currently reads 2.9V, and the indicator light flashes green. According to the user manual, the light should flash red only when the voltage drops below 2.5V, so this may indicate a battery issue.I kindly request Seller send a replacement battery.Additionally, I noticed that the user manual does not include instructions for replacing the battery, and there was no Phillips screwdriver included to remove the four small screws on the device. It would be helpful if a small screwdriver could be provided for this purpose.By the way, the package did include two Allen wrenches, one in each quick release handle—thank you for that.
