JEAREY Olefin Patio Umbrella Outdoor Umbrella with Auto Tilt

This umbrella is the perfect size for my 10' x 12' patio with a south-west exposure. It's very easy to raise, and the crank tilt means no more pinched fingers when it's time to adjust the angle for the late afternoon sun. The color (teal) is pretty and bright, and the umbrella cools the area very well.

I got this about a year ago and it has held up OK. The shaft separated from the screw in sleeve so I had to JB weld it in, not a huge deal but odd. It's like they just glued the threaded part into the shaft with a, not very good, adhesive. One of the ribs bent due to wind ( not a huge gust just a mild wind) so I did a quickie jury rig with some steel and zip ties ha ha ha! I like the amount of shade this umbrella supply's. It will not work in windy areas; the metal is too thin, not enough tensile strength. The fabric is bleaching and getting a little frayed but it's still usable. I think if you just use it as needed (on days that aren't windy) and make sure you close it down after use; it should work for awhile.

Love the vibrant red color! The pole and crank mechanism appear to be more sturdy than the one I had previously. Too early to speak to any fading. I would recommend this umbrella.

I was impressed with the look and function of the umbrella, but extremely disappointed with the quality. Because of the heat wave, we really only used it one or two evenings a week and we were careful with it, closing it every night. So we were very surprised when the cranking mechanism in it failed within threemonths and now the umbrella is useless.

We bought this to replace an umbrella frame that had broken, but we had a good Sunbrella canopy left. The canopy that came with this umbrella is very cheap material and I don't expect it to last more than a season. That'll be more polyester that will wind up in the landfill.

Only umbrella I could find that bent by turning the knob because o can’t reach to push the tilt button
