Needed a bright light for my log cabin and this fit the bill. Really bright which is exactly what I have been looking for. Very long cord and easy installation. Beware bulbs are difficult to put in. Had my wife do it because I could't. Rubber suction did help her install the bulbs . If they only shorted the bulb shade by about 1 inch it would enable a better grip on inserting the bulbs. The light works great. Considering ordering other for bathroom.

Great Light for an area where running wires in the wall wasn’t an option.Pros:We wanted something with the ability to point light downwards to light up my wife’s make up Vanity table and also point upwards to highlight a painting. I chose the AUQUEE 3 Light Track Lighting Kit.It did not disappoint. In fact, it fit all our requirements with a little bit of tinkering. (see details below)Installation was very easy and took less than 20 minutes including the tinkering time (see details below)Paired this with the Amazon Basics MR16 LED Light Bulb. The result was exactly what we needed. Excellent lighting.Tinkering:They provided an extremely long wire (15 feet) with a built-in switch. I did not need 15 feet, so I installed a different plug and switch that I bought from Amazon. However, having the extra length was a great option in case I needed to have it in a different location.The lights do rotate fully, unless you loosen the nuts in the back and re-tighten them. We wanted two lights to point downwards to light up my wife’s make up Vanity table and mirror and one to point upwards to highlight a painting. I got it to work, by loosening the center nut in the back and re-tightening.Cons:1. GU10 light bulbs were a pain to put in. The suction cup provided was of no use at all.2. Brighter than I expected (which is awesome because I’m using it in a room that has super high ceilings and no overhead light). My toddler has been obsessed with pulling floor lamps over no matter what I did to secure them, so I thought I’d try this. Paired with a cable raceway, it’s perfect! Pointing the lights up towards the ceiling makes the room brighter than pointing them down. I was nervous about installing the bulbs since that seems to be the main thing people don’t like, but I used the suction cup it came with and it took less time to install each bulb than screwing a standard bulb into a fixture would. I’m very happy with this. They got fairly warm after being on for about 4 hours straight, but that doesn’t really surprise me.

I have a couple bedrooms with no junction box in the ceiling. I looked at many solutions and this was the most attractive one. It was unobtrusive, came in white, and was a very reasonable price. I'm using it to illuminate some items on the wall that are dark and the standard floor lamps just don't cut it in my limited space.I like that it's not that large so it doesn't hang down low. I do wish the lights could rotate more fully. There is a blind spot in the rotation which is almost exactly where I need the light to point so keep in mind you may be able to just mount the whole unit the other way on the mounting plate to get around that. I also purchased a roll of lamp cord to extend the cord it came with as I needed to route it along the ceiling and across a wall, and down another wall to get to the outlet. It does come with a pretty long cord with a dimmer switch on the line as it is. I also purchased a different dimmer on Amazon that comes with the control on a secondary cord so you can let it sit on a desk and control the light from there.The biggest complaint seems to be the suction cup they provide to help seat the GU10 light bulbs. My first set of bulbs were a pain to put in. That suction cup is worthless. First tip, line up the connectors on the bulb to go into the larger opening on the connection track in the light bulb socket so that it drops down into it.Next tip... I happened to have a square piece of thin rubber (like what you'd use to remove a lid from a jar) that I was able to get around the diameter of the bulb with, and get inside the socket a couple inches. I then squeezed the rubber and pushed down on the face of the bulb and they locked right into place.I did order another set of bulbs (still the same Phillips ones) and they went in finger tight with no force at all needed. So those connection points on the back of the bulb seem to be the issue. I then got a nice wire hiding kit and it looks fantastic.

Let me begin by addressing something that I noticed in another review. These lamps do not include the bulbs. It is clearly stated in the title "not bulbs" and again in the pictorial description where they show a series of "recommended GU10 bulbs". Please do not be disappointed or fault a company for not including an item which they clearly state is not included.Now, on to the review.I ordered two of these and like them overall. They are very simple to install and function as advertised. There seems to be a quality control issue in manufacturing, however. One of the units worked perfectly. The other unit had a defective socket in the center light fixture. The socket would not accept the GU10 bulb. The bulb would go into the socket, but could not be turned into position with any amount of force or coaxing. I did not return the product since two bulbs would be adequate for my purposes where I mounted this light and it was already installed. The directions call for installing the bulbs last. I would strongly recommend installing them first and testing the unit before installing it. These lights look good and work well. I would have given five stars had it not been for the QC issue. I will likely purchase a couple more of these for other areas in my home.
