Kingdom Come: DC Compact Comics Edition

Awesome book great writing and a unique art style is a fresh change of pace. You don't need to know anything before this self-contained graphic novel.

I’ve always loved this set of stories. I loved the comics when they came out originally and always thought they should do a motion picture after them. Just don’t let Disney touch it. They’ll destroy it.

Good read

First, let me say the artwork was brilliant. The story was well-thought out. Superman takes his cape and goes home-retires, gives up on humanity. This gives rise to a more bloodthirsty lot; the rise of the meta-human. An old man,an observer who is struggling with his faith,becomes a witness to man’s end time,traveling with a being called the Spectre. This being selects the old man, who is also a reverend, to help decide the fate of the world. The story is complex and well worth a read. There are many other stories going on as the Spectre and the Rev pop in and out of conflicts during the story. I won’t spoil any more of the story , but it is for me an awesome tale. At the end there is a large section about the writer’s thought processes and the artist sketches, which brought the story to life. I can see why this story is revered.

It’s a good comic book but it was damaged before packaged

The Waid, Ross classic at a more intimate size. The story and art inspire and entertain.

Very good item. It was in prime condition.
