O'Food Organic Roasted Seaweed Snack Sea Salt Pack of 12, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Low-Calorie, Umami Flavor

These seaweed snacks are delicious and i like the fact that they stay fresh without all the bulky packaging. They are very crispy, lightly salted and tastes like the ocean. Great product for price.

These were so good. I sometimes ate more than one pack at a time. And the best part is that there are no plastic cups like other brands. Hope they come back.

Great taste. Less packaging so it makes it easier to pack or store.

SUMMARY: Excellent snack I would recommend and purchase again. I'd like to remove one star, because $10 is a lot to pay for 12 little 0.14 oz snacks. This brand *on sale* ($7.99/12-pack), is a bit more affordable than others, so I won't remove that star for price, since I don't think the company is gouging us or anything. Seaweed snacks are a wonderful luxury item, in my opinion.NOTE ON MY SECOND ORDER (four 12-packs, delivered 11/25/24):- Shipped Nicely In Large Box With Other Items on my Amazon delivery day. Packing paper filler preserved everything in very good (or at least original) condition.- Expiration Dates 7-8 months out: the boxes all expired on 07/17/25. It tasted fine to me.- Damaged/Open Boxes: Two of the boxes were mangled (before being shipped to me, clearly). See photos. No one really wants to see a box of food pre-opened almost completely along the perforation lines. My plan was to bring seaweed snacks to my host for Thanksgiving dinner / weekend. These two boxes were not presentable. The damaged boxes did contain all 12 foil envelopes, each marked with the same expiration date, so the contents are surely fine. Nonetheless, I hadn't purchased at a "mangled/pre-opened box" price.- Amazon Resolution via Submitting Photos: This item can't be returned, and since it was shipped by Amazon, I had to contact Amazon support. The lovely Sharon said that photos would be required. She used a new tool to enable me to SHARE PHOTOS WITH HER IN REAL TIME, so this was be resolved before we hung up the phone. She sent an email. I clicked a link in it, which brought me to a page that enabled me to upload photos. I uploaded three photos, but only two were submitted (bug?). There was no mechanism to send the third photo again (link expires). Sharon had no trouble checking her policies and ultimately arranged for a refund of both mangled boxes. Thank you Amazon. Thank you Sharon.ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's nice not to have the plastic trays as waste. Their tray-less packaging makes for a smaller package overall.The seaweed doesn't get crushed because of the air in the inner foil bags.It arrived in a large paper mailing envelope, so the flimsy cardboard box, in which the 12 seaweed packets were contained, was slightly beat up. This was no problem to me.They were fresh. They had an expiration date at least a year out. I thought they were very good. They were crispy and greasy (just the usual greasiness for seaweed snacks). There was minimal visible residual oil in the foil packets.I'm not a regular consumer of seaweed, so I can't compare this to other brands. I will continue to buy this brand when it's on sale, and when I'm feeling rich. Or I may switch to the large sheets, which have a much more sustainable price point.

Good value and taste.

At first, I thought it had an odd taste. But the more I ate it, the more I liked it. You wrap it with any food you like and it gives it a nice little salty taste. 10/10

Just the right amount of salt and it's nice they are individually packaged without the extra plastic bin inside like other seaweed snacks. It's just the outside packaging with is perfect and doesn't take up a ton of space in my pantry
