8 Ways to Avoid Probate Paperback – April 30, 2024

This book is all I needed to plan for the future. Complete information on wills, leaving money, cars, & property to family legally and easy. State laws, probate, all subjects and questions a beginner has are answered in here. I used this when my parents were elderly and for my own planning and saved so much money, time & headaches dealing with all the legal matters you need to address.

I had already done quite a bit of research but this book still taught me stuff I hadn't learned previously. An easy read packed with situational examples.

Excellent book for us aging boomers. Saved me hundreds of dollars for not having to go to an attorney.

After reading this book, Eight Ways to Advoid Probate, which I purchased at Amazon.com, and tabbing the really important facts, I have been researching futher to check on how to accomplish the items listed. I have inquired about what has to be done, since the deed to my house is in my name and my daughter's name. I was told all she has to do is take the recorded deed to the property apppraiser's office and request the change. I took the advice on checking account, savings account, and the certificate of deposit and there will be no hassle in settling my estate.I would like to suggest the book to my friends, but they would rather spend their money on attorney's fees.

Easy to understand

I decided to take a hard look at my end of life plan. With the pandemic, good time to do that. I also wanted to avoid probate and make it easier on my executor. Very informative and very helpful. Especially liked the section on COD and TOD -- buy the book and look them up.

A good current source of ways to avoid probate. Book has all states general rules stated. A very good guide to this sometimes difficult subject- author does an excellent job in explanation of this subject. Book should be in any person's library who has to deal with probate issues.

Everything you need to start making plans. Read it through once, then pick and choose the items that refer to your situation. Then read it through again to find what you missed.My copy is dog eared and well worn. Was well worth the investment.
