I have used this kind of sponge before from another brand and always found that it was incredibly effective at picking up dust. I wanted to get a pack with different colors so that I could have one dedicated to the bathroom, one to the kitchen, etc. without risking cross contamination. I decided to try this brand when I saw they had multiple colors in a pack and I’ve loved them, dare I say even more than the much more expensive name-brand ones you can buy at the store.What is great about this version of the sponge is the shape. The backside is shaped such that it’s easy to grip and maneuver. Other damp dusters I’ve seen and tried are just shaped like a half circle so they’re not as easy to hold onto and maneuver. Even with the addition of the “handle”, you’re still getting a flat side with grooved edges, so you have options to use it on a variety of surfaces. In fact, I found that the “handle” is perfect for reaching thin surfaces like the edges or picture frames. I wraps around things really well and is more effective than trying to use the edge of the sponge.The beauty of these sponges is that you don’t have to pair them with any cleaning solutions, you just wet them, use them, and rinse them off as they collect dust. I’ve noticed that traditional dry dusting tools don’t grip onto the dust and just spread it around. This sponge grips onto everything, including hair. And it’s very easy to get the grime off of it once you just add water - you’re not having to work at it to get all the dust off. If you are worried about rinsing hair or large particles down your sink, it’s very easy to just pull them off and put them in the trash or I’ve even started using a drain cover when rinsing them. I also love the cleanup and ability to store these sponges once you’re done using them. You just rinse it off (sometimes using a dish soap and water if it’s used in particularly germ-prone areas like the bathroom), then you leave it out to dry for a few hours and store it. Since it dries and hardens, there’s less of a risk of mold or mildew forming.Note that these arrive pre-moistened and soft in sealed packaging, but they do dry hard. Once you re-wet them, they return back to that soft state. When they’re fully hardened, you’ll have to thoroughly wet it and squeeze it occasionally as it takes in more water so that both the inside and outside get fully wet and soften.Overall, I highly recommend these. Due to the unique shape, I’d even recommend them over other competing damp dusters.

I hate dusting, but what I hate more is ineffective means of dusting. These Dust Sponges are amazing. Simply follow the directions: wet them until they're soft, and then squeeze out excess water.I really like that they are so much more durable than the cleaning erasers on the market. These do NOT fall apart, meaning they can be used again and again -- reducing waste.I was surprised how hard they get when they dry out, but each time, they absorb water and become malleable again.And, like my opening implies, these are effective. I run them along a dusty surface and it picks up the dust, saving time and effort.

Soft and squishy material, easy to absorb water and squeeze out. Did not come with instructions so I had to refer to the ad here on Amazon to see how to use these. You run under water, add soap then squeeze to spread soap and wring out excess water. It is difficult to know how much water to leave since this absorbs so well and isn't actually dripping. Just takes some practice. I found this did not work like a sponge to remove dried food on the counter. It does not scrub or have the friction for hard or chunky bits. However, I found it works great at removing fingerprints off switchplates, around door knobs, and on stainless appliances.I scored 4 since it seems overpriced and is somewhat limited in its use as a sponge. It is 5 stars as fingerprint remover though! And it's nice these can be rinsed and reused so they should last a long timeTIP: Make sure to wash your hands after holding these. Even though these do not have a noticeable smell, my hands were coated in strong chemical smell after using. I accidentally cooked after wiping like I had used a normal sponge and then touched food that I ate and it was horrible taste that I couldn't get rid of. Not sure what these are made of but you don't want to smell or tast it!

These are so great for cleaning! I used one to clean my bathtub and shower tile, and it makes quick work of soap scum. I used it with a bleach-based gentle scrubbing product. It was so easy to hold on to for scrubbing, and the scrubbing that I had to do was minimal. I have no complaints about it, but there was something weird about the one I opened: it had water or some other liquid in it. There were drops of the liquid inside the packaging and soaked into the sponge. I haven't checked to see if the others are like this (all are wrapped individually, which is a waste of plastic). However, I find no reason to think less of the product because of this. It really made cleaning easy and I would definitely buy more when needed.

I love finding new products, even if they're new only to me! And they are. They come in the package already pre-moistened, so they're ready to use immediately. I didn't even leave the room I was in when I unboxed the package, but leaned down and wiped away some dust from the nearest baseboard. I was truly surprised at how effective these are. After that first baseboard swipe, I ended up doing a full interior perimeter of the house and my baseboards have never been so spotless, lol! Really effective at picking up dirt, dust, and debris that traditional "feather duster" type products/tools seem to leave behind.As I type this review, this pack of dust-sponges is listed for $13.99, making the price of each one $3.50. Given that these are both washable and reusable, it's hard to say how long they will last, but so far they haven't even shown signs of use, let alone actual "wear." In my opinion, any legitimately effective cleaning product that isn't depleted or used up after a single use is a cost-effective budget saver.Happy to recommend.
