The general construction of this ambulance is very good. The back and side doors open and close very well and also open fully for easy access. The front doors only partially open so it is harder to get the figures in and out. The stretcher does come in and out easily, once you've figured it out. It's a bit of a learning curve initially.The monitor on the inside wall of the ambulance has a battery and lights up when you push the button which is a really nice detail. It is quite hard to get in and out of this compartment however and the battery didn't last long. The top of the ambulance clips on and off for internal play. The roof as well as the body of the ambulance is sturdy.The roof has lights and makes a really good and clear ambulance sound when you push the button. The overall quality and detail of the ambulance is very good. The figures are quite good quality. The ambulance has a friction forward motion and makes a very satisfying noise when pushed.Unfortunately, there are also a plethora of small parts like hypodermic, drip etc that do not clip onto the ambulance or the figures very well and are so small that most of them were lost very soon. These are not well made at all.

There are a number of very small plastic parts that are loose and not really suitable for very small children.There are two electronic lighting and sound modules - the roof and a square box medical equipment inside the rear of the ambulance. There are three supplied batteries inside the medical square box and a requirement for 3 x AAA batteries for the Ambulance roof which are not supplied in the box. On fitting the 3 x AAA in the roof, the lights flashed and there is a sound from the speaker.We pulled the battery saver plastic transport protector out of the medical boxes batteries. On pressing the button nothing happened. No lights and no sounds. I checked the batteries and they all had plenty of charge. Replaced the 3 x LR44 batteries with new one but no light or sound from that unit. Concluded this item is faulty.The doors on the Ambulance open and the figures sit in the seats and can be stood up. The gurney comes in and out and the wheels fold up and down.There are a number of stickers that are stuck on the different parts of the toy. There is also some stickers which are for a motorbike that is displayed in the product video and in the manual in the box. But there is no motorbike in the box.Overall, this has great play value but care needs to be taken over the age group, if the very small parts in the medical kit are included in the play.Its a shame that the sounds and lights on one of the parts don't work. I also think it would be worth changing the manual so that the motorbike isn't shown if this isn't part of the toy. The video on the product description also needs to be changed if the motorbike isn't part of the toy and is not included in the box.
