Love the screen
I love the display screen showing you what is happening with the charger. No need for an app. Although an app would be a good addition.

Died after 6 months - Seller made it right
UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered a full refund. While I'm not happy that it died so quickly, I am 100% satisfied with how the situation was handled.ORIGINAL:Worked for exactly 6 months - October 17 - March 17. Crapped out last night and won't charge my vehicle. It was fine for a while, but I wouldn't expect it to last very long.

Faster than most "Level 2" chargers
One of the things you'll quickly realize after getting a new EV is that the portable chargers that plug into a standard wall outlet really are emergency only type chargers because of how slowly they charge. Like molasses-in-the-dead-of-a-Minnesota winter slow. So, you get a Level 2 charger, but you should know that there are different types of Level 2 chargers; even among the plug-in Level 2 chargers, some will only charge up to at current rates up to 16 amps (which is still pretty slow), some will charge at current rates up to 40 amps (which is really quite speedy for home application). Naturally, you'll typically pay more for a charger that can charge faster, and unless you install a dedicated 240 volt receptacle, you're not likely to be able to make full use a 40 amp charger since that requires a 50 amp+ rated circuit. This charger has the ability to go up to 32 amps but also scale back based on what the capacity is of the receptacle/circuit you plug it into. So, I got this for a better mobile option, because now we can charge our car using just about any electric dryer or oven/range receptacle and maximize the speed of charging without worrying about overloading the receptacle's circuit. And 32 amps is plenty fast enough for most recharging needs.I do wish that this had the option to also use a converter to plug into a standard 120V receptacle; the manual makes mention of an adapter, but one wasn't included (nor did I expect one since it isn't shown as being included on the product listing). I noted that there is no indication on the product listing or the product itself that this is UL or ETL listed. I know at least some EV chargers (like our hardwired one at home) are UL listed, but I don't know whether plug-in chargers vs. hardwired are required to be UL listed, and would encourage anyone to do their homework if they are concerned about having it be UL or ETL listed. Otherwise, this seems like a well-built charger with stout cables.

Why pay more?
Bought my first EV a month ago. Ordered this that night. I had a 30amp run and swapped in a NEMA 14-50 plug for something else that was there. I charge at 24amps in my garage. I didn't look for something more weather sealed as it is in my garage. It works flawlessly. For the life of me I don't understand why people play more. Your car has loads of safety built in. It runs cool. I charged for 8.5 hours last night and it didn't get over 90 degrees F. I would recommend this.If you want to pay more, send me a check.

So far, so great!!
Bought this to replace our failing Tesla Model-3 mobile charger. Extremely impressed and so far it doesn’t seem we’ve given up anything in the process. It seamlessly integrates with Model-3, allowing amperage and scheduling to work exactly as before. The only missing feature is the ability to open the charge port via a press of the charging handle button, other than that - perfect so far.
