A Pawtobiography: My adventures on Gone Fishing

An enjoyable read both my husband and I loved this book. Being fans of the show, you can almost tell who wrote what part. Easy read, light hearted and funny.

Funny, sweet & at the end, quite moving.

Love Ted, in real life, enjoy how the three work together, the book is easy reading fiction with his two mates added in, it's enjoyable and easy enough for younger children to enjoy

Not laugh a minute but still a good read.

Such a lovely book- it helps if you watch the programme ‘Gone Fishing with Paul Whitehouse & Bob Mortimer’ which is so funny and is where we first saw Ted and Paul Whitehouses’ marvellous imitations of what Ted would sound like if he could talk😁 Ted’s story is so sweet - it’s all about being on the road with Bob and Paul, what he gets up to while they’re fishing, what he gets to eat, where he sleeps etc etc it’s a very funny book & is a great read if you don’t want anything heavy or plot ridden. I really recommend this book.

Brilliant read and needs to be read in Ted's voice.

I just love Ted the Dog – he’s a great character and the best part about Mortimer & Whitehouse Go Fishing. This book was hilarious and really read like Ted had actually written it himself – which I am sure he did. There are some very tender and touching moments in this too and at one point I found myself sobbing uncontrollably. My own dog was a rescue, and she used to sit and watch Ted on the TV – I always told her that if she could just help Ted find his briefcase, he would be exceedingly happy. Sadly, she has passed and whenever I watch the programme, I think of her wishing she could be Ted’s girlfriend. I really enjoyed the silliness of the book and just wish that Ted would bring out a sequel.
