Deluxe Walnut Tournament Chess Set - Hand Carved Staunton Pieces

I bought this item in 2013 and now, four years later, it is in the same condition from the first time I unboxed it. Really great workmanship. The wood looks and feels exquisite. It has been used almost daily since I received it, and the folding seam is not noticeable when you put the chess pieces in the hollow and put them away again. There is a ribbon for each piece in the hollow centre which keeps them very secure and safe from accidents should the board be dropped in any feasible way. Truly fantastic investment.
