Vileda Rinse Clean Spin Mop System, Separates Clean and Dirty Water, Effortless Wringing, Microfibre Mop and Bucket Set

Best bucket so far to have two functions in one. The separate compartment for the clean water definitely helps wash the mop and the foot pedal to spin the mop dry is next level. Highly recommend this bucket if you're looking for a good bucket.

There have been some polarising opinions recently of this new version of the Vileda spin mop type. I wanted to redress the balance as it is the best mop system I have ever had.As a dog owner, I must confess to being a bit obsessive about floor cleaning and have owned probably every type of device - steam cleaners, electrical gadgets, flat mops, spray mops, spin mops etc. - sad, I know. I have certainly owned every Vileda floor product at one time or another. My previous favourite was the Vileda Turbo Spin mop which is excellent but I was always unhappy with using the increasingly dirty water as the cleaning process progressed. Enter this new RinseClean system which is fantastic and a game changer in every respect and for the following reasons.1. Separation of clean and dirty water. The clever system delivers just enough water from the clean tank each time to wet the mop and allow it to spin into the dirty water bucket - you are always mopping now with clean water. It really does make a noticeable difference. The clever red lever seems to deliver just the right amount of clean water (with floor cleaning solution if wanted) automatically each time.2. The new clip on the handle to support the mop at rest is brilliant. Why didn't they think of that before? (But I suppose we put men on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on suitcases!)3. The smaller mop head (than the older version) is IMHO better for whizzing round into corners and I actually find I mop faster.Those who claim the mop is wetter - spin it faster! Those who claim the handle is short - extend it, it's plenty long enough for anyone at full extension and I'm well over 6ft. Those who claim the mop 'clumps' after spinning - shake it for a second. Honestly!!One caveat - IF you have a very large area to mop, this may not be for you. The clean water tank holds 6 litres which is plenty for my medium sized kitchen and hall but if you have a very large area you may find multiple fills irritating.However, overall this is brilliant and for me goes straight to the top of the list.

The bucket was bigger and heavier than I expected. Fill in the blue hole Was hard to fill as the clean water tank doesn't have an handle so you have to use the full bucket and its handle. The mop head Was easy to fix on the handle and the handle extension was easy to use and feels solid enough and long enough. But Put too much pressure on the mop and the plastic fitting on the micro fibres start scratching the floor. The spin wringer Is easy to use and the clean water system does work very nicely. However there is nothing on the bucket to help keep the mop handle upright so it loses a star for this. Otherwise I'm extremely happy with the quality and performance of the mop a. nd happy with the price.

Ease your use dries quickly

I don't write reviews often but I'm writing this one in hopes of saving someone money and grief. Marketing gimmick that I have unfortunately fell for.You still dip a dirty mop into the clean water and in order to get it clean ISH you have to rince and repeat 3-4 times which is exactly the amount of water held in the clean water tank, making it the slowest and most tedious mopping of the floor ever. Also claiming that it removes 99% bacteria with just with water should be illegal because it can never be true even if you sat there with a fire hose hosing your floor down all day and all night.This was probably designed and approved by someone who never washed a floor in their life. The red triangle on the mop head is much smaller than the original design which makes the mop tilt over when you're mopping and you end up with all the mop hairs on one side and scraping the floor with plastic triangle on the other side.The thread that handle screws into is not gripping well so when you try to separate mop head from the rest of the mop the handle comes off and red triangle stays on the mop head.The thought I would just use it as a spare bucket without the clean water section for mopping with my old mops is also futile as the spinning basket is much smaller and accommodates the smaller triangle hence impossible to use with the original mop.For this money I could have paid someone to clean my floor 100 times more than I've used the bucket it self.

Love the premise of this product. Great build quality, everything shouts premium until you use the mop. Its tiny and constantly folds over itself making it a pain to use - shame as otherwise this would be 5 stars.

Great quality!Expensive bucket! LolWastes a lot of water but concept is goodI ended up taking the cartridge out n just using the bucket as a normal bucket.The red tap doesnt wirk on mine.When i close it, water still seeps thru so rubbish tbh. Lol. Kept it as i like the spinner its so good and i cdnt send it back as i missed the deadline, or i would have. £40 on a bucket!I must ave lost my mind that day!
