It works well for the price
It does take some drive formatting to get an old laptop HDD going with this but once you do. It functions rather well. Its slim doesn’t take up too much space. For the price it’s not a bad buy. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, even with a Hard drive installed it’s not very loud.I managed to install a few hundred Gb of files onto it, while it won’t be nearly as fast as an M.2 it isn’t nearly as slow as a SD card.It’s cheap and so far it works just fine.My only complaint would be the length of the USB cable. If you’re using a full sized ATX tower, it’s a bit short.

Great encloser.
Great little device for old laptop computer HDD drives. Easy to install the drive and protects the HDD drive. I will order an extra one for my other unused drive.

Works, 500GB HDD Converted to USB
Put a 500GB sata drive in it and voila a portable HDD. Can't ask for much more than that it certainly works as advertised.

Nice compact design. Hot swap works like a charm.
I have 2 loose drives. I can now use them on my laptop and easily swap them out. Just slide off the cover, slide the old drive out and the new drive in and slide the cover back on. No tools required! Easy peasy. The drive is quiet. Great value for money, I might get another.

This works as advertised, the price is excellent, and it was easy to put together with the hard drive I removed from an old, non-working laptop. Now I've got an exceptionally inexpensive, large capacity USB hard drive that can be carried around in exceptionally little space and used wherever I need to use it.

Fast transfers with a caveat
It goes offline when there are sustained data transfers while directly connected to a computer. If it's connected to a USB 3 docking station, it's fast and remains consistently online.
