I am lactose intolerant, but am able to eat ice cream and foods with uncooked milk by taking just 1 Lactase Supplement. I generally take at least 1-2 a week so I can enjoy dairy and have been doing this for more than a decade. If a don't take the supplement, I experience many symptoms.Since my usual supplements have been working great, I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try anything new. However, when I saw the opportunity to try Nature's Truth Lactose Digest Tablets, I was curious if they would be effective.Bottomline: I had zero problems or symptoms when I took 1 pill before eating a dish of ice cream. It worked just as effectively as other supplements.My usual supplement is a chewable tablet that contains 9,000 Lactase Units. This supplement contains that same amount of lactase, except that it is in pill/tablet form.My tip: Through the years, I have found that if I were to eat, for example, a bowl of ice cream on an empty stomach, that I was much more likely to feel sick and get symptoms even if I took a supplement. At the same time, I also found that if I eat a snack before eating dairy, like cheese and crackers or something that would fill me up a little, then I am able to eat ice cream, products with milk, etc without any problems several times a week.I would order again for its effectiveness, but its higher price compared to other similar products would be the main deterrent from ordering again. That's the reason for its 4-star (rather than 5-star) rating.

I have been buying this Natures truth lactose digest. Great product until now. The tablets are twice the size as they have been. Checked ingredients & doesn’t show any difference. My body is very sensitive to most things so i called to see what had changed. The lady said she doesn’t know but it should be fine for me to take them!!Well i will Not be buying from this company again!!

These are round tablets, not chewables or narrow tablets like other lactase supplements I have used. This makes them a bit harder to swallow. It is effective, however.The value is very fair (currently $7.98), especially if you do not need to use it often enough for larger packages to be worthwhile.

These are super concentrated and cheaper than the Walmart Equate brand. Now I only need 1 tablet for every 3 pills I used to take.

There’s not much to say about lactase tablets, so I’ll just add my voice to the consensus.These tablets contain 9000 units of lactase and come from a brand that I’ve favorably reviewed in the past (I tried their magnesium glycinate softgels and found them particularly effective for the claimed dosage).Since I rely on lactase to stave off lactose intolerance, I would have no qualms about calling out this product if it didn’t work. It does work, and I’m happy I ordered it.The price is much less than the equivalent from a brick-and-mortar store. I did see some cheaper competitors when I looked. But I’m impressed with the consistency this brand has demonstrated so far, and I’ll recommend them on that basis.
