Seems good (KLIM k7bl portable). I've recorded about 10 audio tapes onto mp3, no problems. Quality seems good. I'm no audiophile but the mp3 files are better sound quality than the original cassettes played through my (old) Walkman. It's fairly easy to use. Comes with an sd memory card, onto which you record. Then take that sd card out, put it into the usb stick (also comes with product) and plug that 'loaded' usb into laptop for transfer. Yes the unit is a bit plasticky and probably won't last many years. And the way it works is not made very clear or superconvenient, but is manageable to a non techy person like me.

Great little tape player, it has a stereo head unlike some other makes. The supplied earphones are adequate but I prefer my own headphones. The wow and flutter seems to be quite low, I would say on par with a mid 90s tape player. The built-in speaker is what you would expect. I've not had a chance to transfer anything to SD card yet, but as a modern Walkman it sounds pretty good.

Probably the best cassette converter to mp3 I’ve tried. It successfully converts your cassette tapes to mp3 via the micro sd provided and with no glitches in replay. The reservations I have are that playback is immediate and you are not able prevent this even if you turn on the device with the micro sd inserted. In addition, playback sound using the earphones is very ‘tinny’ (doesn’t matter if you use any other earphones) as there are no base and treble controls. Other than that, it is a good device and is well worth the money.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. It far exceeded my expectations with the build quality and packaging. It does everything it says on the tin and the value for money is exceptional. It arrived beautifully boxed and with a humorous cartoon strip from the Klim Team. The sound quality is good and the instruction booklet clear and easy to follow. It has all the functions I ordered it for and the unit is solid and well built. Actually I can't fault it. Well done Klim. I have just ordered another product from them.

This made short work of converting a pile of 50-year-old cassette tapes to MP3s. These were self recordings and some of them suffered with background hiss from the rather cheap original recording equipment (and also the age of the tapes I imagine). Once downloaded, I used Audacity software to clean up the sound of a few of the files. Overall I've ended up with excellent results. I'm particularly pleased I didn't have to resort to specialist restoration services.

Looks right, feels right and works right . this is the best machine I've had to convert tapes to mp3. Put the tape in ,sd card in, press the right button job done. If you have tapes to convert this is what you want.

A nice little thing and works very good tape sounds great playing but the quality of tape transfer to SD card is not that good when played back from SD card. The most annoying thing is the SD card plays straight away when you turn on or stop the tape and I cannot fine a stop button for the SD card and the file button will not work. The price of £40 is way expensive for this item in my honest opinion.Do not play after converting
