Our exclusive ground stone formulation provides a tough yet breathable stone effect finish that looks & feels like a natural stone stone surround, at a fraction of the cost. Box Contents: 1 Litre StoneLux Fireplace Stone Coating & 500ml StoneLux Primer Coverage: 1 litre will complete (with 3 coats) approx 2.5 meters squared. Coverage can vary depending on the condition & porosity of the substrate. Drying Time: In normal conditions allow a minimum of 2 hours drying time between coats. Suitable Materials: Heat resistant and suitable for use with gas, electric and inglenook fire surrounds, back panels and hearths. Use on wood & wood finishes, stone, plaster, bricks, resin, tiles, marble, MDF, exiting paintwork and more. Application: 1. Ensure surface is clean, sound & dry. Sand pre-painted or glossy surfaces. 2. Apply StoneLux Primer using a brush, roller or spray. 3. Apply a minimum of 3 thin coats of StoneLux Fireplace Stone Coating using a brush, roller or spray. For a smoother less textured finish, light sand the final coat using a fine grade sandpaper. For greater texture, stipple the final coat while still wet using a stipple or small paste brush.
