Revel CCM101CH 110-volt Wet and Dry Coffee/Spice Grinder, Chrome,MEDIUM

Been using this product since years now. Haven't found a better alternative that grinds/minces products in very small quantities for a better price. It does it's job pretty good and imo a must for any kitchen.Very easy to clean too! The only downside is it is a bit noisy but not a deal breaker at all.

Found one of these in a cooking kitchen when we traveled to NYC for a cooking class. It is fantastic. Bought one here as soon as we got home and one as a hostess gift for a friend as well. If you cook and want to quickly pulverize dry spice or chop small amounts of garlic or onion, etc. You cannot go wrong here.

Mostly use for garlic, ginger, chilies, and spices. What sets it apart is the blades sit lower so you can finer grinds and can do smaller amounts. Easy to clean as well. It is one of our most used kitchen gadgets. We even bought a spare just in case.

I agree with other reviewers on several points: I, too, recognized this immediately as the same as my old Moulinex chopper and was very, very happy to find a replacement for my old chopper; I also agree that you can't put this in the dishwasher. The aluminum plate in the bottom of the chopping cup gets tarnished by the dishwasher detergent and if you do put it in the dishwasher you will have to wipe out the black gunk before you put in any food. I recommend you hand wash.On the other hand this is my chopper! It does a fabulous job of chopping garlic, herbs, or whatever else you put in it. I have had the Moulinex version of this chopper for over 30 years. I brought it with me when I came to the US from France. At first I used it with a 220 V French power strip I wired in my kitchen for all my French appliances. When I replaced the other appliances I got rid of the power strip and put a new motor in my beloved chopper so that it would work at US 110 V. Yes, it is that good! Finally the blade has gotten dull so that it no longer does a great job and I was really happy to finally find a replacement. The only problem is that my old chopper did not have the aluminum plate in the chopping cup, just plastic so nothing to react in the dishwasher so long as you don't overheat it with the dishwasher's drying cycle. I suspect the metal plate helps with the chopping but why oh why couldn't they have used stainless steel? Also, it really isn't designed for the dishwasher (and I never put my old one in), because it does not have drain holes in the bottom of the chopping cup so that the bottom part will drain when you put the cup in blade-side down.So bottom line: it chops wonderfully well, but doesn't go in the dishwasher as advertised. I deduct a star for that, but I would gladly buy another if they can change to a stainless steel plate in the chopping cup and put drain holes in a newer version. Thank you Revel for giving me another beloved chopper, just please fix a couple of small things.

This product does not work! It claims to be a wet grinder. There were reviews that said it can be used for making coriander chutney. It did crush the leaves a bit but took us more than an hour to grind it to a decent level,,, It is very small. That is okay but the main problem is that it does not grind. I just used it once and am in the process of returning it, I did not try to use it as a dry grinder and cannot comment on that part.

I really like this grinder! It. Grinds items even into a paste! I use it to make garlic paste! Easy to clean!!

Extremely easy to use and grind anything. Very easy to clean as well! Great purchase and I would recommend it for sure.
