I bought this because i needed to replace an old rotting wooden swing. I chose this because it had good reviews and I love the fold down drink tray! It was pretty easy to put together except one part where the holes didn’t perfectly line up and it took a little muscle and brain matter to get the screw to go through but it was well worth the effort. Beautiful looking, solid swing. Very comfortable to sit on and like I said the fold down drink tray is a really cool feature.Luckily I already had the hanging hardware already set up because it only comes with the chains. You need to supply the hardware to hang it from yourself. I do wish it had come with 2 more of the adjustable loops to attach to the top of the chains, because I did have to run out and buy them. Other than that, it was very easy to build and install.

This was the perfect replacement for a broken bench swing. It was easy to assemble by myself and to hang from my existing swing stand. It's beautiful and comfortable. I love the fold down drink holder. The swing is very sturdy even for my 6'3" hubby!

Do NOT buy this swing!! No quality control. No customer support from Vevor. However, when I called Amazon Customer Service, they issued me a refund without my having to disassemble and return the thing.It was incredibly difficult to assemble.One of the large bolts was not threaded. I had to go to the hardware store and purchase a replacement bolt (threaded) and nut.Three of the connecting bolts that hold the chains were too long, so I had to use numerous washers to fill in the extra space Because of all the work-arounds I had to do on these major connecting/weight-bearing bolts, I am not at all sure how safe the swing is.It was broken on the front. I will have to use wood filler to repair it and then stain the repair. Even so, it will look damaged.Despite the amount of time and energy I put into assembling this thing, I am ready to trash it and request a refund from Amazon, which I did.

I’m really enjoying the swing so far it seems well-made. They definitely need a new way of painting it because eventually I will probably repaint paint. Could’ve used a second coat. It was missing a few screws in some of the slats of the swing but my husband just replaced them didn’t really affect the use of it. Overall, I would recommend.

RTFM ... read and follow the instructions (not like me). Surprisingly well made. Please note, you will need ceiling hooks. And maybe some graphite for "chain" squeaking.

Between the wood being too soft and the bolt heads eating into it, and the pre-drilled holes not lining up on the backrest, requiring me to actually re-drill new holes, all the while hoping that the soft wood didn’t split, and the poor job done with staining the wood and sealing it… I’m pretty disappointed. I’ll need to sand the whole thing down and re-stain and urethane it if I have any hope of it lasting in the elements for longer than a few months. Also the slats that support the bottom seat are flimsy and creak/crack when being sat on as they’re just 1x2s. All in all, I don’t expect to get prolonged use out of this, but I suppose it’ll be serviceable until I can find something sturdier. The only plus is it looks nice.

This is a pretty solid product! It was easy to install while also being relatively affordable. It is also quite comfortable to sit on and holds up quite well, even in our very windy location. My sibling loves laying on it with a blanket in breezy weather. Highly recommended :)
