IRON °FLASK Camping & Hiking Hydration Flask with Straw Lid & Boot - Stainless Steel, Double Walled & Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle - Leak Proof & BPA Free (Caribbean Heat, Straw - 22 oz)

Straw lid has great, natural flow with minimal resistance, good and controllable flow control, and is leakproof when closed (I haven’t tried a carbonated drink but I do not recommend it and don’t count them when declaring this lid leakproof). Has a clip, which has proven strong and sturdy thus far. It blends in seamlessly with the handle - can be hardly noticeable unless you’re looking for it, or happen to feel it when you pick up the bottle. Extension/depth straw is slightly flexible, and connects to the lid very securely, watertight with silicone. Gets pretty close to clearing all liquid in the bottle, leaves about 1-3 tsp. When you remove the extension/depth straw, and tip the bottle bottom-up and manually control the flow, it makes a bubbling noise louder than a whisper. If you tip the bottle and let water flow naturally, it makes a different, quieter bubbling noise. Can get loud/uncomfortable air pockets in your sip if you tip the bottle back 95% of the angle it should be. Without extension straw, water flows freely when tipped (and straw is up), can be convenient and low energy/effort to drink. The straw lid itself is fairly dense, and if you unscrew the lid and let it rest on the rim, it can tip the bottle over if not at least 40% filled.Sip lid has good, notably smooth flow for no-breathing-hole/only-one-opening sip cups/lids, but not ideal for chugging quickly, at least without practice. Otherwise, decently easy flow and smoothness/texture control. There is no breathing hole, just one sip opening - opening is slightly larger than medium-sized pebble ice. Sip lid is leakproof even with carbonated drinks (at least without intense shaking), which was the primary reason I bought this. Sip lid doesn’t come with a clip on the handle like the straw lid, which often leaves me feeling for a clip that’s not there, because I enjoy feeling it spring open and shut.Both the straw lid and the sip lid are easy to carry, I prefer carrying the straw lid because I like to play with the clip, the straw, or the straw-adjuster tab. Both these lids twist on and off quickly and easily with just approximately 360 degrees of rotation required, and I have yet to find a starting point that leads to a misalignment.Bottle is VERY good at maintaining the temperature of the liquid inside, at least so far for me. Volume is often a bit smaller than I’m used to for water, otherwise I find it great for most any beverage. I bought the solid green bottle, and I LOVE the color. Not jarring, not dull, it’s strong, it’s rich. Matte, slightly grippy finish, the exposed stainless steel is a bit reflective but very lowkey, and mostly smooth. The rim/inside is very smooth and shiny. I’ve had no problems hand washing it.

Excellent product!I work from home and picked this one for its size and the fact I have another bigger flask that has served me good. Also, when I am in meetings, I prefer to use the straw which makes drinking more discreet (just my personal thought).I compare it to my daughter's Stanley thermos and find it much better, less bulkier and the straw is more compact and it will not allow the 85+ degrees temperature I am around most of the time to warm my drinks even if I leave it upright for long time. It keeps my drink cold during the day until I finish it, and you can still hear what's left of the ice cubes when you shake it after done.Not sure if it is because it's new and I've been using it for a few days now, that I have to suck a little stronger, but you get used to it easily.The outside looks nice to me and it is perfect to fit in my car's cup holder too. An important thing for my desk: It never sweats, and when accidentally hit, it has never leaked over my papers, nor had a scratch... phew!Cleaning is easy with a brush, like with any other tall glass or container.

I bought 3 Iron flask 22 oz. camping water bottles. I drink 3-4 liters of herbal tea and water everyday and like to have a cool drink when I go out. The Iron Flask containers were perfect and kept the liquid very cool or nicely hot, when required. Now, one day, I found one of the flasks leaking - not a good thing- because the vacuum seal was coming loose. Very weird. I contacted Iron Flask support and they were wonderful and on the ball. They immediately sent me a replacement, extra straws and thin cleaner. I could not have been happier. I use my Iron Flasks everyday and take them whereever I go, even overseas. I never write such glowing reviews, but Iron Flask deserves it. Hydrate, people, and use an Iron Flask!

I bought this because I wanted to wean myself off plastic bottles (micro-plastic scares me) and this has done the trick. I fill it with filtered water from my Britta, add a couple of ice cubes, and a squirt of liquid flavoring (I'm not a fan of the taste of plain water) and it stays cold and fresh right down to the bottom - regardless of how many hours. Great purchase!

I have many 40oz and 32oz ironflasks and have gifted them to people and they love them! They’re my go to. If it weren’t for my most recent purchase they’d be a 5 star. We’ll see if the seller responds. I bought this 22oz one for convenience. The larger ones are great for the gym but the smaller one fits in the cup holder.This thing is IMPOSSIBLE to drink out of. The amount of sucking you have to do in order to get half a sip of water is unnecessary. Great mouth, tongue and throat practice, but let’s be real. Ya girl needs hydration! I don’t like the other kids, just the flip straw so I threw away the other kids upon arrival. As well as the packaging so I don’t want to risk sending a partial product back for a replacement. I inquired on getting a new lid and straw as I don’t know which has the issue. I checked the air vent and it’s adequate for the job. Either the straw is too long and is sealing at the bottom of the bottle or there’s an issue with the lid/straw gasket. I will happily send the defective lid/straws back. But again, we will see if the seller responds.Zero issues with the larger ones so I would 10/10 recommend those ones. This smaller one just doesn’t seem like it’s designed for use.* UPDATE *Ironflask was so quick to just refund me for the purchase. I asked them to send a new straw but apparently giving me my money back was easier. So, I tried again and it worked out. It was 100% the straw. When I tightened the lid it basically sealed the straw to the bottom of the bottle.

I am a fan of this flask and have ordered two for myself and one for my husband. It's the perfect size to carry to work and in and out of meetings. It keeps drinks cold all day and if I put ice in it in the morning, it's still there toward the end of the day.
