Delicious coffee
I've been wanting to try a new coffee brand and this popped up. I liked the aroma of the coffee. It smelled even better after cooking it. I recommend using this for a morning pick-me up or if you're a baker, it may be good for treats. The taste was not too acidic or floral. Very straightforward coffee. The design was so pretty, too. Perfect for a hosting gift!

A bland disappointment
I really wanted to like this coffee. I was excited to try it the moment I held the unique metal container in my hand. I opened the lid and drew in the aroma of the coffee, and it does have a pleasant smell that borders on floral. The coffee was finely ground and looked of good quality. It all went downhill from there.I used one tablespoon per cup as recommended. That pleasant aroma actually seemed to disappear as it brewed. I buried my nose in the cup when it was finished and still had trouble smelling the coffee. It's marketed as a medium coffee, but it looked very pale in the cup. Uh, oh.I picked up on the flavor of the arabica beans, but not much else. It was so light that it could pass for a dark, heady tea instead of coffee. It was lighter than the lightest breakfast blend I've ever tasted. What I could taste honestly just didn't impress me much. Concerned there might be something wrong with my brewer, I followed up with a pedestrian cup o' joe. The brewer was fine.Bottom line: I've tasted light gourmet coffee that was three times as flavorful and one-third as expensive as this alleged medium roast. I'm very disappointed. Cool container, though!

Box arrived opened
The box arrived opened, and the inner seal inside the coffee can was broken. I don’t feel comfortable drinking it in this condition. Very disappointed. What a waste.

Expensive, But Super Good!
I'm a died in the wool coffee drinker. I enjoy a cup here and there through the day, so when I saw this boutique coffee, I was intrigued. At $42/8 oz., ($84/lb.) it is something I wouldn't normally order, but I did out of curiosity just to see what it would be like. I chose the Elephant Queen roast, which seemed to be close to what I normally enjoy, and I was impressed with the ornate packaging and metal storage tin once I opened the box. The aroma was fabulous. Nutty, with a little hint of mocha. It is a fairly fine grind, so it will work well with different brewing systems, just weigh out your normal amount and go. I heated up some water and made a cup using the pour-over method, my usual style. The flavor was clean, clear, and distinct. It definitely has the nutty aroma, as mentioned in the product description, plus an underlying complexity that made for a very satisfying cup. All this said, I don't think I'd buy this based on its high price, but I will consider ordering more for a gift for someone's birthday, holiday, or host, because it's definitely high quality and unforgettable.

Beautiful tin and delicious coffee ☕️
This highly unique presentation is more likely what warrants the extremely hefty $42 value, because the coffee inside is not as decadent as expected. The coffee itself is just fine: smooth and non-bitter with notable hints of dark chocolate and honey. However it being "full bodied" is not quite on the mark, unless it strongly depends on your brewing method of choice. A French press brew was the best way to really bring this coffee's flavor out, and was made even more delicious with some cream and a dash of sugar. It has a secure safety seal on its opening to better ensure freshness, and the outer decorative box makes this a nice choice for a possible gift idea designed to the tee to impress.

Smooth, Great taste!
I’ve tried a few Bacha Coffee blends, and Roman Holiday definitely stands out. It’s smooth and light, with a medium-light roast that’s just perfect for my morning routine. Honestly, I find myself looking forward to this cup every single day.
