My cat has CKD and has been difficult at times getting him to eat. Tried this after reading other reviews and this is a game changer. Although you can dilute it in water, he preferred 2 or 3 spoonful's out of the bottle daily and it really encouraged him to eat his RC renal kibble. As it has a 10 day (kept in fridge) shelf life once opened, buying the pack of three works really well and there is hardly any waste. Originally I bought the larger bottle and had to throw the majority away. Worked for my boy, hopefully will for your fur babies

This helped my car out on some weight after a very nasty flare up. We had no idea she had kidney failure until she was end stage and the death of our other cat stressed her to the point she was very very ill. When she wouldn't eat, or was just licking the jelly off her food I knew if I put some of this on she would eat it. I also found we wasted less food too. Because usually she would nibble a little food and leave it and when it dried out an hour later she absolutely wouldn't look at it. With this I coukd pour a little more on and she'd have another go so I wasn't having to open fresh tins every hour (as renal food is expensive!). I think the smell is fine. Just bought my second bottle.

Yes this stuff is super expensive and only lasts 10 days in the fridge once opened but my cat has kidney failure and it’s almost impossible to get her to eat anything and she’s lost heaps of weight. She completely turned her nose up at this in a bowl but if your cat is doing the same I urge you to try and get them to lick it off your finger, it’s the only way she’ll take it but will take it very happily this way, it smells really strong so I think it will be great for stirring in any supplements and medication they need. Definitely worth a shot

Helpful when cat was poorly.

I was dubious that the reviews were true and doubted that anything would tempt my 19 year old girl to eat. She is very fussy and often refuses to eat her food which she enjoys previously. I thought this may be a good idea as she has renal problems.....at the first sniff she loved it. I mix a little with her renal food which inspires her to gobble it up. I also give a little mixed with her daily laxative, this is the only way I can tempt her to have it ! I am truly amazed by this and if you have a fussy cat then I would definitely recommend. A little pricey but stops waste on her food so overall cost doesn't really matter.
