I replaced a "normal" duty swivel on a chair that was losing ball bearings with this one. It's at least twice as heavy duty (thicker metal) as the one I replaced, so hopefully it will not begin to lose ball bearings with use. Works perfectly at this point (only after a couple of week's use).
